That is awful Flower. I am not surprised you feel so bad. Hope you are OK xSo sorry to hear that Flower.Must have been really awful for you..sending hugs xx
Thank you....just seems so unfair. Five years in prison, but with good behaviour he could be out before we know it. Guess it just made everything feel really raw and fresh again.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I'm so sorry Flower, I had the misfortune to have to attend an inquest a few weeks ago and it was awful. Big hugs xx

JUst wrote this in my diary but thought would tell you as well, in case anyone is interested....
Well I have had a bit of a change of heart on the whole flat thing. Was doing some research into a legal contract about paying my Dad back and looks like that could affect how much mortgage we would get because of the interest we are paying. Also the area we are looking in I had a bit of an unsure feeling about and I did some googling and it made the feeling a bit worse.
We have decided we are going to try and save up a bit ourselves for a couple of years. OH finishes his probationary period then so could get the opportunity to move which would broaden our search area as well. Is a bit diaapointing but I think is for the best.0 -
That sounds about right wendz...if it doesn't feel right you'll not be happy there.
Loving reading about everyones wedding plans.
Dinah hope you find out whats wrong with your knee soon.0 -
Sorry the sentencing was so lenient Flower, it really doesn't seem fair at all. Thinking of you x
If thats what feels right to you Wendz then that seems like the best idea. There is nothing wrong with renting, the arguement that its 'dead money' only works if you are paying significantly more in rent that you would in interest+cost of upkeep and repairs on a owned property.
Thanks Taxi
My dads 50th birthday today, so had a few of his friends over for dinner. Was a very nice evening, but I did have a very small slice of his chocolate guiness cake (you were right Tete - YUM!) and a glass of champagne and a baileys. However I was really, really good on calories the rest of the day, so in total came to about 1750, which is not bad at all everything considered.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Flower - I really don't know what to say, I can't believe his sentence is so small! That's not fair at all. Sending big hugs xx
Dinah - Happy Birthday to your PaHow are you so good with calories?! The cake sounds scrummy though, can't wait to try it for OHs birthday! Hope your knee is a little better today.
Wendz - It sounds like you're doing the right thing with the flat. Like Taxi said, if you're not 100% on a place you won't be happy there.
Payday today! Yayy! Moved £30 into my holiday savings, and *mentally* put £45 to one side for hairdressers on Thursday. & I can post a picture if you like Lara! All excited, my plans for ''Being a better Me in 2010'' are going well. New Hair and Car Lessons = Tick. Just losing weight, contact lenses and enrolling at college to go. tum-te-tum.

Well there is a whole year to get all that done Cinny, you don't have to do it all in the first month! Really chuffed for you moving forwards though. Will it be wierd for you being in a structured educational environment after so long being home schooled?
Definately make the cake Cinny, how far is your OH birthday? If more than a month you need another excuse to make the cake!
Spent too long standing talking to people last night, my knee is killing me today. Couldn't sleep last night so was up until 2.30am and up again now. I see a codeine induced naptime coming soon.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
