The pink room is the one we'd be stealing a bit from, so would be redecorated anyway!

House sounds v promising - it's pretty exciting that you're looking at 4 bed house as FTBs. Good luck with NIM's dad!

Lol nope not really, I can't imagine me anywhere so pink for that matter! I love the floor in the hall/kitchen/bathroom/conservatory, it's travertine or something I've never heard of, it feels like marble. Have to hand it to the lady shes done it up nicely, although some bits aren't fully finished off and there would still be plenty of personalisation to be done.

However we looked up the previous sale price on zoopla, and it appears she bought it at the height of the boom in November 2007 for £10k less than its up for now. Clearly she has improved the property substantially in that time, but property prices have also fallen, so not sure what we're going to go in as an offer. NIM feels if you don't ask you don't get, but I think its really cheeky to go in with a really low offer ie 15k below asking, as it actually seems to be a pretty reasonable price as it stands.

I think 15K less is a reasonable offer to go in at.

Hmm, I suppose it is less than 10% below asking price.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed over the house too! It really does sound perfect.

Work has been so slow today. Spent most of it googling images for getting my hair coloured, think I've settled on what I want now. Which is nice! Decided to go brunette after a couple years of my natural hair colour. Won't be very MSE with all the root touch ups, but I'm bored of being a red head! :o

I've pm-d you the link, don't think I'm wierd but I don't want to post details of a house I'm seriously thinking of buying and discussing my plans for it on an online forum, the vendor or a friend or something could be reading!

*Pokes nose in* let me see?!

I agree Cinny, your hair's lovely as it is!
