Poddle - the hair removal sound amazing. Is it expensive and how many sessions does it take to zap the hair under your arms?

Ah I'm glad you're back in the nice place Lara, I can stop worrying about you now! If I come across any football shirts I'll let you know!

OH has LOADS of old ones, mostly from his team that he has supported all his life. He even still has his first ever duvet cover with his team on that is 23 years old.
I would offer you them Lara, but most of them have been signed by the players at the time and I dont think my life would be worth living if I gave them away :rotfl::rotfl:

What is bookkeeping? :o Like, accounts? :o:o

Aye bookkeeping is like accounts lite, no good for major business but fine for small companies and sole traders.
Who says the Muppets aren't educational? Ah, the MCC is my favourite thing about Chrsitmas!!

I'm on team The Snowman here - it's not christmas until 7ft of frozen water abducts a child and flies over Wales.

Wow, well done on the book keepping course Dinah - another string to your bow! Are you still getting on with the matched betting too?
Had to use all my matched betting money to pay for the wedding! So now I need to hit ebay and build up a float again.

Spent tonight tidying my studio. It's finally starting to look like a real room, albeit with only 1 piece of furniture. I really want my house to be a house now, this squatting in chaos thing has gone on long enough!

Morning all.... yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnnn... I'm so sleepy! I've always been a bit of a hit and miss sleeper and stupidly vivid dreamer but this last fortnight has taken the biscuit, every night I've had really odd vivid dreams and I'm waking up exhausted because I don't feel like I've actually rested, I can barely keep my eyes open today! Had a little look on Google about it but now I'm just scaring myself, I'm a little bit of a hypochondriac and I'm convincing myself that I need to go to a sleep clinic etc so I must stop thinking about it! (Need a rolly eyes here!)

When do you think your house will be (more or less) finished Dinah? You got any recent photo updates?

Sorry to hear about your sleepless nights Birdie - hope it gets sorted soon. Does stress make it worse - maybe you are thinking about all the wedding stuff. You have a lot going on?

I can relate to you on the sleepless nights, although not by choice on my part. Max is teething and the poor thing is waking up in pain during the night (several times). I hope he gets a tooth soon cos he is gummy at the moment!

I always dream loads when I'm either stressed or in a different bed on holiday or something. Is it to do witht the wedding, or the desk thing at work?

Last night I dreamt that OH had been shot and a building had exploded (I put this down to this week's Spooks!), and he was lying dying on the floor of a Greggs - I woke up really upset and told him about it and he just said, "Well I've been shot before and I survived!" (he was accidentally shot in the leg with an air rifle when he was 16) - totally unsympathetic to my plight! (He did ask me to marry him in the dream though, but probably because he knew he was on death's door and wouldn't have to go through with it!)

Sorry, I know there's nothing more boring than listening to other people's dreams! :D

Hope little Max gets some teeth soon! :( Wisdom teeth are painful enough, must be awful to have your whole mouth feel like that!

Dinah I'm with you on the squatting in chaos :( at least we're not having building work done though! The coldness in the house has reached a new low - the Nutella in the cupboard has gone solid as though it's been in the fridge! Not acceptable!

I don't mind listening to peoples dreams Tete, probably because I have such mental ones myself I understand the need to get it out of your head! OH has quite a few dreams where I die and he's always really clingy with me when he does, it's so cute! I don't think I'm consciously stressing about things when I go to bed, but maybe something is playing on my mind; could be work since everything has gone awful and I really don't like my stand-in manager because he thinks I'm 'fine' and is being an idiot about everything...

Poor little Max, and poor you CMD for not sleeping because of it! Is there anything you can give him to help relieve the pain so he sleeps or do you just have to hope his teeth come sooner rather than later? (don't really know much about medicating babies!).

That's not good about the frozen Nutella Tete! I thought I had it bad being a chilly this morning, but it's not that cold! Can't the landlord do something about filling the gaps around the windows?

  • You poor thing Tete - I hate the cold :( Can you contact the landlord and say there is a heating problem?

I can give him Calgel which is like baby bonjela and if the pain gets really bad I can also give him Calpol, which I try not to do unless its the last resort. He is really suffering though. I think once they pop through its not so bad (on everyone lol!!!)

  • It's not a heating problem it's an insulation problem and I don't like to ask because I don't think he'll do it. His daughter lived in the house before us and I've a feeling it's the reason she moved. If he didn't make it nice for her he's not going to do it for us, surely? And I don't feel like we should HAVE to ask for these sorts of things to be done. If it was something like the boiler broke no problem but this wouild be asking to have (expensive) stuff done to the house that should have been done to start with... I don't know I just feel a bit funny about it :o
