Apparently the spare room is my room so he doesn't want Rocky in there... I wonder if he'll be happy with having it in the bathroom?! Even more annoyingly he's now dug out the life-size Rocky cut-out (that I'd managed to stick right at the back of the hall cupboard) to keep the picture company... and because it's funny (to him!). I'm letting him keep it out 'till Sunday because his friends are coming round for birthday drinks on Saturday but then it'll be back to the cupboard! I'm really quite growing on the idea of having it in the bathroom, we need something on the bare walls but I don't want to put any nice pictures up in case they get water-damaged!

It's so odd reading the 10 year old blog; she was making jokes about the millennium bug and going on about the magical new invention of TiVo! I actually found it because I'd read a book of the best bits of the blog a few years ago and laughed a lot and I've been meaning to read the whole blog for ages so whilst I was off I found it and started reading!

I'm another mammoth thread-reader, what you really need is a button just showing the OPs posts. What I really like to read is all the updates. I started going through Mike's house thread but got square eyes, it's 200 pages!!

I feel your pain on the Rocky thing Birdie, that is terrible. I'm afraid I would use my veto - spare room!

Hello girlies! Is everyone OK? I’m feeling very jealous of Dinah’s 3 week honeymoon; I hope she got lots of pictures to turn us green with envy!

I worked out today that in exactly 1 year OH and I will be running around Harry Potter Land like kids on too many e-numbers, how exciting! We’re not going away at all this year now because we’ve decided to put all of our money towards wedding/honeymoon next year so we can do everything we want to do (and so OH can get his hat, wand and cape in HP Land! :rotfl:) I bought my pink ‘Barbie’ dress last night for my hen party, it was only £30 on eBay so I couldn’t resist, and I can’t wait for it to arrive! I’ll have to post a picture when I get it! I think OH will find me wandering around the flat in it when he gets home from work the day it arrives! I’ve been having quite a few odd wedding dreams recently and I think that my subconscious is telling me to stop making lists and to start ticking things off the lists instead! Only 148 days to go!

OH has been super nice to me recently, I’m not sure why but I’m enjoying it! He gave me some money to buy new work clothes at the weekend because he was fed up of my tatty work wardrobe , I got loads of really nice stuff from George for £57, I couldn’t believe it! Nor could he, think he got off lightly there! LOL!

Oh and Tete you sly fox, I didn’t know you had a blog! I had to stumble across it on Cinny’s! I have no idea how to follow blogs so I just have them in my favourites and check every couple of days but I’m watching you!

How's Max doing CMD? He must be big now!

Your wedding will fly in now Birdie. Are you getting excited? The Barbie dress sounds great. When/where is your hen?

Max is great. I am weaning him at the moment. I had to do it very slowly as he wasn't overly impressed with food at the beginning but he loves it now. He had lemon sole, cheese, tomato and sweet potato puree for lunch and wolfed it down! He isn't crawling yet but is saying 'da da' and 'ma' and blowing raspberries. He is a very smiley baby & we are lucky to have him

I have no idea what's happening on my Hen party, it's all a big secret, which I hate! I don't think a date has been set yet so I'm keen to find out when it'll be so I can get all giddy!

Max sounds lovely! I can't believe he's already old enough to be talking! Our friend's baby is saying odd words now, 1st word was 'Dad', 2nd was her Mum's name, 3rd was 'Mum' and 4th was 'W****r'! :eek: Think she spends a lot of time listening to her dad when he's on the xbox! :rotfl:

Yeah I signed up to blogger a while back to follow the blogs I liked, but then I got all sort of inspired to do my own, not sure how long it will last though! It's my homepage CMD if you click on my name there <--

I'm settling into our house, still no wardrobes or bookshelves but I'm trying not to stress about it. Broadband getting put in on Monday thank God! But my gosh, doesn't living with a boy eat up your money? And I mean that literally! He's a gannet! Payday but I'm budgetting heavily to afford all the holidays I've agreed to - Keswick with the girls in November, Bruges/Krakow/somewhere with OH in December, and Amsterdam possibly with my old housemates in Feb. I really could do with several pairs of winter boots and a new coat but don't think it's going to happen! The good thing is that my emergency overdraft account is now our house account so I can't go plundering it and so can't build up any debt. Goiing to have to learn to say no though!
