Maybe the moving in with my OH was a bad move... no I love it and if he hadn't moved up here with me he wouldn't be in police so all good. Very true that it is what works for each situation.
This weekend I am going home to cat sit for the parents while they are away. Going to see my friend and her baby tomorrow then maybe a sober night out tomorrow with another friend.0 -
The people i did pole dancing with when i was at uni (not in a stripper type way lol) do trapeze classes now, looks really fun!0

Oooh trapeze course sounds lots of fun! I wish things like that were offered around here. The people i did pole dancing with when i was at uni (not in a stripper type way lol) do trapeze classes now, looks really fun!
Lol, Wendz, yes hopefully! And good exercise too - I may finally learn how to climb a rope:eek:LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Still no house news, I take that as a bad thing
going to go hiking up a mountain tomorrow though so that'll blow away the cobwebs hopefully, and it's payday on Monday so lots to be cheery about. Sigh.
Can't belive you're still bathing in the sink! Poor you! Trapeze course sounds fab, I'd be beyond hopeless!
Yeah the good thing about Inception is that there's a sort of novice girl just starting out so they do a lot of explaining with her which definitely helps!
Aww, it'll be nice to see your cat Wendz!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I wouldn't want to be a first aider in case I ever had to give mouth to mouth to someone with ... a beard! :eek:Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »Alnwick Gardens IS Alnwick Castle Gardens, you get entry to both - I didn't know the snitch was there though? It is where they filmed the Quidditch scenes though I believe. LOVED Alnwick Garden when we went, go to the Poison Garden if the queues aren't too bad, it's fab. We went to that first thing and there were only 6 of us on the tour and we had chance to ask all sorts of questions, later on there were two groups of 15 going around at any one time. Are you going to go to Barter Books???Afraid I haven't actually heard about any gardens with a snitch! The treehouse restaurant in Alnwick gardens is fab, make sure you go, it's not even that expensive.
Thanks for clearing up the garden question, I was tres confused! OH had been told that there is a snitch statue... I really hope that he's been told correctly or he'll be a nightmare! I'm hoping to go to the treehouse restaurant at some point too. First stop is indeed Barter Books Tete! :j
We didn't go to see Toy Story yesterday, hoping to go tomorrow or Monday. There are loads of films I want to see at the inute, think I'll have to buy some vouchers through work to make it more affordable!
Fab bargain on the cupboard Flower! I never find bargains when I look!
Trapeze lessons sound great Poddle! Jealous!
Yesterday we did go up to Teeside Park with OH's parents, bought some bits that'll be shown on my wedding thread early next week once I've taken pictures! We went out for dinner with them and they gave us a cheque... for £5,000!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j I can't quite believe it! We can pay off the balance of the wedding, pay a chunk towards the honeymoon (which we can now afford to book!) and buy some new furniture that we've been after for ages! We want to use it for these things rather than going towards debt as a) the debt is mine, not his and b) we want to show them where the money has gone, so on tangible big things that we normally couldn't afford and memoriesCan't wait for the cheque to clear so we can start spending it! Wisely of course
Have a good weekend! I'm off to wake up OH so we can get a move on, Alnwick waits for no man!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
aw Birdie, that's really generous of OH's parents - i'm v happy for you! It will be so exciting to pay off the wedding and book your honeymoon (i'm too lazy to find jumpy-up-and-down smilies, but yay!) and then you can focus on clearing debt without compromising on your wedding.
I ate lots of Chinese food last night and I'm starting to wonder whether I will be able to support my own body weight on the trapeze!!
I'm going shopping for the last few bathroom bits today - although bath is now plumbed in, yay! - and it will all be ready by the middle of next week. It means money will be tight this month, but I guess I'll have to spend my free time in the bath with a book (which doesn't sound too awful...)LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

Amazig news about the cheque Birdie - how generous of them. That is a great idea to pay for the wedding rather than the debts so it is something for both of you.
I went to see my friend and her baby this morningand had a lovely little cuddle. Am off to go see Oh's family in a min.0 -
And on the other end of the money spectrum, today we faced facts that we're short to meet our wedding bills and got a loan. F.E.C.K I hate being back here.
The logical part of me knows its mostly due to the house costing more than planned, and we should have built some value into it, but the rest of me just wants to scream that we cut it too close, I did in my knee and lost my wages, and didn't have anything to fall back on.
Come September you're going to see the old Dinah diary back, single minded and determined to get debt free.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
