I do! It's not so bad, it's quite quiet in the mornings so I just make a mug of coffee and catch up on Twitter dramas! (namely Spencer Pratt!)

    Just busy here.

Made £52 selling a few bits on ebay last night. Which is grand. Now over the £100/£800 mark, although all the figures are a bit shot now we're not doing the floors, we should be okay. But might as well try to make a bit extra anyway. Hoping to do some more matched betting with NIM tonight.

Knee isn't for another week Poolie, next Thursday :)

Tried out the big floaty bowl centerpieces, and they look what they are - cheap. My mum has decided she's going to hit ebay hard with their old clothes and stuff to buy the champagne glass ones instead.

Been back on the diet bandwagon with a vengance since the start of the week, I was 140lbs at the start of the week, I'm measuring everything I eat, I am SO determined to look right on 3rd September!

Finished sewing the outside edge of the veil - yey! Inside edge next.

Well done on the ebay sales, it's nice of your Mum to muck in to help get the right centerpieces too!

What's your target weight for the wedding? The Diet Police aka OH was having a go at me again last night about my podge. Just because he's managed to grow an extra 2" around his chest in muscle and has a pretty much unreadable body fat % doesn't mean we all have to be perfect! Grrr. He actually said to me last week, 'When are going to get in shape so your wedding dress fits?' Grrrr again! I felt like saying, 'It's got a corset back you git, I can put ON weight and it'll still fit!' I know I have to do it but where's the motivation when I'm alone all night?

If you are happy how you are Birdie, then don't fret on it! I only have motivation because I don't like how I am, and even then I sometimes sneak a few squares of dark choc. Its not like you're in the unhealthy range. In an ideal world I'd like to get to 120lbs for the wedding, which is still doable as thats about 1.5lbs a week. Hard though with no exercise until the last 4 weeks or so. I've been getting at NIM a bit as he's gone out of the 'healthy' bmi range and is just into the overweight area, all on his tummy really but I keep telling him if he can shift it now it won't become an issue, I don't want a tubby hubby - it scares me the extra strain just a little extra weight puts on the heart.

Well ideally I'd like to lose a stone but I can't help but think that if I start now and lose it I'll probably just put it back on by February anyway! Thinking about joining WW with my Mum but then I don't know if we can afford the food bills as it's not eactly cheap to eat 'properly' and if I do cook in bulk and have 'my' meals sorted for the week I know that OH will just help himself to my stuff anyway so I'm left with nothing after a couple of days!

Blah... I'm feeling cross and fed up today and I can't put my finger on why! TOTM so maybe it's just hormones?!

Sounds a likely culprit. If he helps himself tell him he no longer can nag you to loose it as its his fault you can't stick to the plan!

Sorry your not feeling great today Birdie.

As for your OH, him reminding you all the time is not going to help. Maybe he could go walking/swimming with you instead so that you can get fit together. Before my wedding myself and OH went to the gym together. I just needed to tone up but OH needed to lose weight. Rather than nag him, I just went with him and I ended up toning right up before the wedding!

I am lucky though because I have a high metabolism. I now weigh a stone under what I did before I got pregnant. Pity my hips have widened to the size of a bus though!!!

I don't think any of us are ever truely happy with ourselves.

That would be ideal but he works until 10pm and I start work at 8am so we can't really fit anything in together because the time between him finishing work and me starting work is bedtime! I tried going to the gym on my own but it just didn't work, I have such a short attention span that I can't stick to anything, especially if there's no-one there telling me to stop whining and get on with it and I really don't like getting sweaty and breathless in public! :o

I need to find an exercise buddy, but there really isn't anyone who lives near enough who's up for it! I just have to kick myself into gear and go it alone I suppose!

Hi all. Bad day today on the cat front. We took her her to another vets for a second opinion and they found a lump. An ultrasound today confirmed it's terminal and as she's in such as a state and wouldn't have much of a prognosis given its advanced state, we had to let her go this afternoon. I'll catch up with all your posts properly next week but probably won't be around much in the meantime while it all sinks in.
