If I was being picky Tete I'd say that dress looks more very early sixties, but with enough petticoats (and a poodle...) it'll look fifties!
Oh I thought it was quite Grace Kelly-esqueOoh, I watched An Education the other night and that made me want little sixtes shift dresses too... it's funny how we think of the 60s as being all mini skirts and liberation but actually a lor of the clothes were still quite demure.
I can't believe you've manage to get NIM to incorporate decorating the house into his stag do! That's make most men run a mile from marriage I should think! I agree with Kittikins though, hen/stag dos verge on the ridiculous now, and the last thing you want is to fork out hundreds on a mini break to Benidorm when you're also having to buy a new outfit, a wedding present, expensive drinks on the day, taxis and hotel rooms etc...
Off to peruse the KG site.... How are the sizes? Normally about right or smaller or bigger than normal? ...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
The code is KGSUMMER10 if anyone is after some shoes! The ankle boots are nice Dinah; I went a bit mad and bought a pair of boots and 3 pairs of wedges... came to like £170 so now I have that awful guilt you get when you spend money you don't have on stuff you don't need.
I'm gonna see how I feel about everything when it arrives though and if I don't love it then I'll take them back.
Lara did you scratch the spending itch in the end?! Hope your OH gets some work soon.
Cinny are your tattoos going to be in white ink? I can't wait to see a picture!
NIMs stag do sounds good, I'd hate to go out drinking or whatever too. A spa weekend or something sounds nice though! Weren't you having a joint stag/hen do though?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

We're having a joint stag/hen meal with our nearest and dearest, a couple of days before the wedding. It'll be the first time his mother meets his dads girlfriend so could end up being more tense than fun sadly. KG sizes are about bang on, verging on a tiny bit small. I'm a 6 1/2 (39) normally, I can fit 39 or 40 in theirs. There is a gorgeous pair of black shoes £75 down to £25 if anyone is a size 8.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Shame your meal could be awkward Dinah, that's the reason I can't have a family wedding. But oh well! Sounds like everything is coming together for you, how exciting! Do you have a plan re babies?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I didn't know you had a blog Zig! I keep thinking about getting me one of those...
Dinah, I'm the same shoe size as you so if you've got some high heels that you feel aren't fulfilling their purpose in life you know where they'll have a good home....Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Lol I'm about to stick two very gorgeous pairs on ebay this week, one of which has never been worn, starting at a tenner each, I'll send you the link when they're up. I love the big flower pair you stuck up. I've serioiusly trimmed my shoe collection the last few years, now I've only got about 10 pairs of quality heels, and another 5 pairs of boots, and 5 pairs of flats. I had over 100 pairs 4 years ago!
Baby plan. You don't mess about do you?!Depends if you talk to me or NIM. He would be pleased to start trying on honeymoon. I'm not ready as I enjoy our lifestyle as it is a bit much, and don't think we're financially ready either. Want some savings behind us and to travel a bit more first. In my head I'm thinking about 3 years, although I once made a deal with NIM we could try once I've been to New York, and we're planning to go for our first wedding anniversary! Just have to see when I get seriously broody, and see how our fiancial situation alters with businesses, NIM getting a new job etc.
