Super well done on your list for last week  I'm sure you'll get this weeks done too! Fingers crossed for your product idea too.
Hope everyone's well! Can't believe it's Monday alreadyWas pricing the NY trip with my Sister last night and I need to get saving as we've decided if we're going to do it we're going to do it properly. Also booked in for my tattoo in June, which is equal parts exciting and squirmish as I'm having it on my wrist *shudders*

Get yourself on the Tesco vouchers Cinny, we're looking to go to New York for 7 nights £175 in Tesco vouchers +£100(ish) each, and that's for a 4* right in the heart of it. We're looking to go for our first anniversary. Very excited. Depending on the money situation we might also use Tesco vouchers for our main 2 week holiday next year too. Still want to go to Japan, but finances might be such that that ends up being 2012 instead.
Trying to decide what to do today. Guess the first thing has to be hunting down the courier.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sounds like a really good deal! But OH and me use clubcard points for days out, and I don't really have the spare cash to put into the big deals - although I know you do get the money back by selling the stuff on. Plus my Sister is really excited about saving proper money (she's still a credit card girl!) so I'm kind of hoping after saving for NY she might start saving for other things rather than whipping our parents CC out.. wishful thinking!
Japan would be amazing!! Will you be learning the language before you go? (/do you know it?) That's the thing that puts me off going, I wouldn't have a clue!0 -
What tattoo are you getting Cinny?

I know a little only, but I'd hope to learn a bit more. The speaking is a lot easier than the reading or writting, which I find wierd as I can watch a french film or read a french book fairly easily, but I find speaking I'm quite hard to understand. Which is a shame!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Weird with the French, I guess if you were to spend a lot of time in France you'd pick up the accent and be easier to understand?
CMD - Me and my Sister are getting matching tattoos that say 'Zusters' It means Sisters in Dutch, but it's just a silly word we like saying.0 -
Gargh bloody courier! They've said they only attempt collection once, and I have to pay again if I want it sending. I'm so angry - they came on the wrong bloody day! So now I have to pay to send it again, and I'm going to be about £8 out of pocket.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's a pain about the courier! Even more so as it was their fault not yours - surely they have it on record the day you asked for and the day they came?? You shouldn't have to pay for their mistake!0

Sounds like the same people who delivered my car stereo - once i'd paid I got a note saying it's be delivered between 8am and 6pm (yeah great) and they'd only attempt once and it's an extra £6 if they have to come again. Luckily my Dad was able to wait in for me but it's a bloody cheek!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I'm also angry that we won a mirror on Ebay last night, huge thing and we got it for only £6. The seller clearly wasn't happy, and sent an email 10 mins after the end saying 'I've just taken it down and it smashed, so I'm cancelling the sale'. That really annoys me, as I'd bet good money that mirror is still in one piece, they're just not happy with the price it ended at.
