Lol I'm just glad we have a garage with its own annexe - more than enough space for boy toys! Although luckily 90% of the things he likes that I don't want cluttering up my house are tools - which belong in the garage anyway!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I dread the think what he'd buy if he had a garage to fill! He said on Saturday that he'd got a drill off his Dad for me, what do I want with a drill?! I think he likes the idea of owning tools even if he can't use them! If I want a hole drilling I ask his brother to do it since he's actually not a danger to himself and others unlike OH who seems to be missing the DIY gene!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Wow those are some pretty insane tree houses! I have this book there are some amazing ones in there too! I can definately see it being a NIM project one summer - shame we have no trees at our house really! Just need to make our millions so we can move somewhere with trees (and stables... we don't have affordable tastes!).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh no about the star wars plates Birdie, they sound attractive!
Dinah - wish we could have a massive lovely house too, you will one day I am sure!
We have been having a nightmare with things breaking at the new flat but things seem to be working now. We had no washing machine, no hot water and a dishwasher that wouldn't work. Thankfully we have a temp washing machine now and the hot water is fixed yay so I am much happier.0 -

I'm actually having a very productive day - I'm aiming to get another (wait for it) 12 things crossed off this list today. I can not face another list that long next week! Plus next week I hope to be able to get into making my veil. This week I need to work out my damned budgets, work out how much money is where, how much more I need to set aside. What I REALLY want to have is all the wedding money saved up so I know we're not going to be short, and that way I can focus just on the works to the house, and I know anything we save is house money, anything that goes on the CC is house money, etc. Our CC has a £3k limit, which we will use if we need to, obviously rather not but thats looking very unlikely atm.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That sounds like a good idea Dinah, you don't want to spend your wedding day worrying about the fact that your flowers/BM dresses/cake/whatever is in your CC and you're not sure how long it will take to pay off! The house stuff can wait if you're really short, although it isn't ideal, plenty people do 'make-do' for the first year or so, just be happy that you're there and enjoy it!
Wendz, nice to hear that things are working after going all wrong on you! Apart from the problems are you settling in OK?
We had a leak last week under the kitchen sink and water had trickled into my toilet duck fresh disc dispenser thingy so when I opened the cupboard there was lemony fresh foam all over! Lol sounds interesting.
I'm not really worried, if its £3k its £3k, we should have it paid off my Christmas. I'm actually more worried that we'll be commited to more outgoings than we'll be able to meet, so I'd just like to know we've got all the money saved/already paid.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Just popped on to post some of those diet coke Asos codes so I thought I'd catch up
In true Dinahstyle this weeks list is seriously impressive/equal parts terrifying! You're already doing pretty well with it. Hope all the budgets work out well, like you said even if you do get into debt with the way you work it'll be cleared by Christmas. (but still, fingers crossed it isn't too much debt!)
Birdie - Don't be a meanie, let your OH have those Star Trek plates up!Then one day you can be dusting and.. 'Oh Noes!' (well, Oh Noes to 1 plate that you could easily replace from ebay!) That way you'll get the kudos of being a nice wifey-to-be and letting him have the things up, but then you'll have to pack them away as 'you don't want to break another!'
Hope you're all well0
