Collossal list! No chance at all of it being completed, especially as my contact has asked me to do some website work for him this week, I'm not sure why he asked me, maybe its a test? But I don't find out how much there is until Tuesday, so I think I'm going to be fairly busy even without my list.

I'm actually having a very productive day - I'm aiming to get another (wait for it) 12 things crossed off this list today. I can not face another list that long next week!

11 things done - only 1 more to go to achieve my 12 today! Might just have to be super efficient and up my target even more! To prod my efficency, I'm going to star the ones I'm aiming for this evening. NIM is going to play football with some round table lads, and doing his uni work afterwards, so I'll have plenty of time to crack on if I focus.

ETA: 7 stars added, so aiming for 18 things in total today. Clearly I'm in an organised mood this week!

ETA: 12 done! And the wedding savings aren't as dire as I feared. £5542. I've counted it all as weddings shortfall rather than splitting between wedding and house. There is nearly £1000 on the CC at the moment from various deposits etc. So saying we have £2000 space, that means we NEED to raise £3442 - almost exactly £30 per day, between now and the wedding. Or we need to cut that much from the wedding budget. Or a combination of the two. I'm going to sign up to my first matched betting site tonight.

Can't upload the items on NIMs Amazon as its playing up. So I'm going to do something else off the list instead to get my 18.

So, have culled the to do list a little bit to have todays mini list. I've been playing with one of my Amazon language course pieces of software. Its really good software but Irish is an impossible langauge! I'm very tempted to switch to the (more useful!) Italian, but I want to learn basic Irish to show willing really.

That seems like a decent manageable list. Did you say before you were having a 'Hag' (or 'Sten'....) do or is that on top of seperate hen and stag parties?

We're having a sten do as well, which will just be a meal with our close friends and family a few days before the wedding, give everyone a chance to meet, specifically NIMs mother to meet NIMs dads girlfriend - don't want that kicking off on the day!

Just got my order through from Godiva (I blame you Birdie!) I am not happy! They sent one item in the wrong colour, another looks cheap as anything, and the final one says size 10, yet has a 24" waist!!!! Thats smaller than size 6! So its all going back and I won't be using them again.

Good idea to get everyone to meet before the big day, I suppose that's what an American rehearsal dinner is? We're thinking of doing something before we go away so everyone who is coming to the wedding can meet before they go so if they run into each other in the airport they can say hello!

Plus if you did that anyone not going could feel a bit more involved? Must be quite hard for close friends/family who want to go but can't get the time/afford it.

Yeah, although that's what the big party is for! I don't really want people who aren't coming to feel like we're rubbing their noses in it if we have a pre-holiday get together and everyone is getting excited and the people who aren't coming just have to sit in a corner quietly because they're staying at home. Hmmm. Tis a conundrum, I'll just have to see how many people can/can't come and go from there!

Got in a bit of a flunk last night as I don't have a current sewing project, and my veil material still isn't even dispatched. NIM is trying to encourage me to paint more, do him some more piccies in his series, but I'm not really in the mood given the last 3 aren't even hung up yet.

So the insanely long list I said I'd never get done this week, its looking like I'm actually going to get a serious chunk of it done. And I've been adding to it. A lot.

The last item, the cake toppers, has been giving me a huge headache. We decided our wedding cake toppers could be our Warcraft characters, slip in a little bit of how we met, but getting them custom made was looking at being upwards of £70, £140 for a good set, and the budget has to give somewhere and this is something we're not overly fussed on. So last night when I asked NIM if he'd emailed the contacts about them and he said not yet, I jokingly said 'you better hurry up or I'm ordering bride and groom penguins from Etsy!' to which he replied 'do it love, I think thats a great idea'. So, I'm off penguin shopping, hopefully can get them under our £50 budget - which will effectively be the first money coming off my shortfall in my sig.

The list is going very well! Pat on the back for you! My ability for reading typos seems to be getting worse with age, I was thinking 'What's a series headache??? Why class a headache as one in a series???' Duh, *serious*! It took me ages to figure that out! Think it may be coffee time!

I like the sound of penguin cake toppers, links when you get them please! No idea what to get for my cake, would love Barbie and Ken (or Kelly and Tommy, Barbie's little brother and sister, as they are more cake-friendly size!) But I really don't think OH will go for it! Saw on a blog that a couple had used Lego people on their cake, how cool!

Aww, I think the warcraft figures would have been a lovely touch, but you're right it's a big expense! Arg, I have so many wedding ideas myself, just waiting to be used *sigh*
