Great news that you know what's wrong with your knee, you can work at getting it sorted now! Physio will be a hard slog but worth it!
Your challenges sounds like good ones, and quite nice really so have fun with them!
Been working for my Daddy today and got a lovely cheque for £50! Whoop whoop! Straight to the bank to pay it in tomorrow!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That is good news you know what the knee problem is finally.
The challenges sound good. Have you managed to find a way to do the quilt. My sister has been knitting a multi coloured blanket, is getting pretty big now.
Birdie - well done on the money. That was a good use of a bank holiday.
Hope you are all having a good weekend. I have been seeing friends and family which has been very nice.0 -
Birdie I forgot to say, I thought of you the other day, went to TK Maxx and they had loads of beautiful long coloured dresses like the ones you posted on here (the nice ones) and they were about £60, I think thats pretty good really and they were beautiful. I know that that shop tends to vary what it has in different stores but it might be worth a look-see of youre near by? even if you just have one as a honey/weddingmoon dress!!
oh yeah and tete office have a sale on, I dunno if they have those blue shoes you were looking at before!0 -
Thanks for the tip Tink! Going shopping next week with a couple of friends so I'll pop into Tacky Maxx and have a look!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Anyone around? I've eaten far too much chocolate and made myself feel sick! I've managed another DY review and then remembered that they'll probably be no-one else on there to bother reading it seeing as it's Easter!ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)0

Hi Dippy!! I just went on and read/rated it for you
Will get on at some point this week and read/rate everyone, so you all don't think I'm picking favourites
That book sounds really good though!
Dinah - The new challenges sound good. Like the sounds of making a quiltShame to hear you don't think you'll be able to make much money from your paintings/prints
I wouldn't give up on it yet though, you've only just really started and it'll take a while to make a name for yourself on etsy.

Hey Dippykitty
Glad you're having a good one. I have been cleaning all day yesterday and sanding today. Bah humbug to DIY. No chance of stuffing on chocolate as OH didn't even get me an Easter egg! <sniff> It is so nice to be on holidays. Judging from the quiet on here everyone is having a gooood time
At least tomorrow my kitchen will be a little less ugly, after a coat of paint. And we got our first furniture purchase, some lovely second hand Italian chairs from ebay. We got a good bargain - we paid less for a set of 4 used than one new chair would have cost. Unfortunately they are the ones with beige on the back, as I would have loved red or green.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Hi, everyone hope you are all well. I know that it may have seemed that I had fallen off the face of the earth but I have been rather busy. We have just arrived back from center parcs and we all had a great time. I for one found it very relaxing and completly forgot about school and all the marking I have to do before I go back.
We got a call while we were there regarding the mortgage, not good news I'm afraid. We were looking to borrow an additional £72,000 to pay off CC and convert the building we own. We haven't had the full feedback but as it stands they won't give us the mortgage. We will contact them on Tuesday and see what they have to say. We already have planning past to convert so we may look into selling it as it stands.
I also need to look into insurance cover we have with the morgage as I may be able to make a claim now that OH is not working.
Right I am going to spend the next hour catching up so please type slowly.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳
