Hello all! Poor NIM... I'm getting genuinely worried about him as he's not turned up to tell us that you're just kidding!

I knew I came on here with some exciting news.... but what? Oh yes, I've found my Wedding Dress! It is this one but I'm getting it in Light Gold, which sounds dodgy but looks fantastic! My Mum insisted on buying me a Jenny Packham headband thingy that looks really pretty on and complements the little sparkly bit on the dress. When I got home OH's Mum text me to say that they're putting £300 towards the dress too! I'm so happy! :j

Yey Birdie! Really happy for you! It's a very pretty dress too, I actually think it sounds nice in light gold, looks a bit tin foily in silver.

Your dress is fabulous and I love the headband. I also had a headband with sparkly bits and small feathers. My dress was a Maggie Sottero and I can vouch for how comfy they are. My dress was one of the most comfy dresses I ever had. So exciting Birdie, you will look so beautiful in that dress :)

Thanks girls! I'm still buzzing, it is so true that when you find the right dress you don't want to take it off! It isn't what I was thinking of getting at all but it's a nice mix between light and beach-friendly (as it is a 'Destination' dress there's hardly any weight to it) and fancy bridal.

Now I just need to find pretty sparkly flip flops and I'm sorted!

Dinah, I'd recommend Poppy Bridal in Darlington, they were lovely!

:j Aww that's very exciting news Birdie, and a lovely dress. I am so glad you found 'the one' and it's much better to have all the excitement of trying on rather than buying over the internet. And very sweet of OH parents too, they must really think a lot of you, and your relationship. Yay!

 Yay to Dinah mortgage too!

Fairly quiet this morning on here. Take it everybody who is meant to be at work is.

Anyway, final loan payment to Barclays today. Roll on tonight when the whole lot will clear and the account should close.
