Congratulations Dinah! Is all coming together now.

CMD - my Mum was a valentines baby and her Mum nearly called her Valentine, she is quite glad she didn't. My dad gets away with buying only one card though. Glad everything is ok with the baby.

I went for a work night out last night which was bowling, kareoke with free food and drink. I managed to win the bowling somehow, was a total fluke. I won a golden pin and the company who took us are sending another prize over so that is exciting!

It'd be about half the £14k that'd go on credit card, and waiting a year isn't something we're willing to do, I can clear £7k of credit card debt in 7 months or so, less if we get money for the wedding, so this is the way we're happiest to do things :D

Hi all! Congratulations on getting the mortgage Dinah!

How exciting about winning a prize Wendz, I agree, your job sounds so fun!

I had the day off work today, the idea being I'd wait in for our new bed which arrived at 9am! That was good though as I've had all day to be lazy... lovely! Looking forward to bedtime! Not so good is that I seem to have caught a nerve in my hip/top of my thigh which really hurts every time I move!

Cheerleading last night was dreadful! We turned up and there were all of these girls milling about wearing matching 'Lazer Cheer' hoodies, it was more of a practice session for the squad than a fun class! I didn't even get to shake pom poms! They were practising lifts and pyramid things and I'm too big to be a 'flyer' ie the girl that gets lifted up and thrown about so I had to be a spotter and catch the girl being thrown about. It was so scary! I'm going to complain to the leisure centre about it as the girl taking the class didn't take any medical info and find out our limitations and what-not and it was advertised as 'For Fun' and 'For Beginners'! We didn't even do any dancing. They did a little cheer at the end of the class and I could summon up more charisma in my little finger than the whole squad combined! Half of them were fat too... not a good advert for joining the squad! I want to go to do some exercise, not stand around lifting small girls up! My SIL came up with a cheer in the car park calling them 'Lazy Cheer'!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
