I get full pay for 6 months of sick, then it'd go to 50% pay if I'm off longer than that.

The student OD is only 0% until June, so I'd really like it to go away.

We find out today if we've been accepted for the morgage. The IFA is concerned we'll be refused due to NIM only being in the country a year, so I'm nervous as hell.

    Morning everyone!
I agree with Tink, it would be a shame to miss out on your honeymoon, especially when you've both worked so hard for it. Its a once in a lifetime thing.

Only need 5200 points and i can cash out my second voucher on Toluna! I've done all the polls though and wont get the survey points i've done credited for another couple of weeks

Fingers crossed for you Dinah! It seems unfair that NIM's Irishness can count against him!! Do you know how it's calculated? ie, is it 3x your salary plus his or totally joint?

I agree with what others have said about definitely going on the honeymoon! I understand your feelings about starting married life with debt, but at this point it seems like the obvious solution. And once you're homeowners you'll probably find it easier to get 0% credit cards if you haven't already got these.

Well done with Toluna Lulu! Have they changed the cash out levels for vouchers recently? I got one before Christmas and I'm not sure if it's worth persevering for the next one - i keep getting phased out :(

Its 80,000 points for a £15 Voucher. I think it used to be 60,000 for £12, but 100% on that.
Its so easy though. I log in everyday and do the polls and they sometimes lead to surveys. They email me with surveys quite often too, but i dont always qualify. I know they've got poor customer service etc, but as long as your patient when you request your voucher, they seem ok xx

Its really lenient, 4.75 x joint income. We're WELL within this which would be a maximum of 199,500, and we're looking to borrow £132600.

That's huge! Is that with 80% LTV?

    Hi Dinah

Is it the 14k from the previous page that you'd be putting on cc? That sounds like quite a large amount - are you sure you wouldn't rather wait a year? Wouldn't you also need to buy some furniture for the new place?

I think you should definitely do the honeymoon as you've been dreaming about it for aages :D
