  • I think it is normal to feel nervous about joining something by yourself. But when you do force yourself you do feel better about things.

Definitely - feel the fear and do it anyway :D

aww I'm glad its not me! Although I have gotton a bit better at it, I think its because I am so rubbish at persuading my friends!
I've joined 2 things on my own this year and I did it because I really wanted to go, and no one else did, so I just took the plunge! I'm really glad I did too :)
This I think is the first direct offer. I think it means you have to change your direct debits/salary etc (but I don't have any and I don't have a salary...) and then you have to pay in £1500 a month (im thinking pay in £500 3 times and take it back out again) and then after 3 months they credit u £100 and if you leave, they give you another £100...?

Felt all rubbish yesterday, some stupid ***bleep*** off ebay, said she hadnt recieved the two pairs of trainers i sent her. She was a pain in the bum every step of the way, and the dispute has gone in her favour. So great, minus in my paypal account and they are gonna take it out of my bank which also has £0.00 in it, so i will now get a bank charge. Urgh!

Yesterday i didnt sell any dvds, but so far today i have sold another 4, so feeling a bit better. Getting back in the swing of things on Dooyoo now, so things are looking up.

    Quiet here today...

OOhh yes we should do that! Would have to be the Dinah fan club I agree.

OH just rang me all excited after his driving lesson and wants to get on the car insurance ASAP, slightly worrying lol. He has done lessons before but not since a couple of years ago.
  • Eek, your precious new car Wendz!

Lulu that's so annoying, exactly why I stopped ebay, the buyers have too much power. I had one woman say a pair of jeans I sent her hadn't arrived, she's paid about £20 inc postage as well, so not a small sale really, and when I emailed and said I had another pair exactly the same that I'd send her recorded delivery (I bought two of the same by accident, which is why I was selling one!), they miraculously arrived the next day. Not sure if it was coincidence or if she was trying it on or what. Then I had all that hassle with the woman who'd paid £3 for a pair of used walking shoes then complained and complained that there was a bit of dirt in the tread on the bottom - she was definitely hankering after a refund but I wasn't going to back down and she did eventually. Grr.

Urgh  the jean lady was definitely trying it on - i see the worst in everyone when it comes to ebay! Stupid people! I wouldnt mind but she won one pair for £4 and the other for £2, i wish i'd of just kept them now! Never mind the fact that the auction was for the UK and she lives in some far away country and she was trying to pay UK postage costs and she moaned and moaned and urghhh!!

Another Dooyoo review written and nearly half way to my cheque :D
Labels for MusicMagpie arrived today. I had already wrapped the parcel, trying to be efficient and now i have to unwrap it to include a list they sent. Marvelous. :o
