Well done on the 5k I am impressed
Cheers Doodle - not sure if I ruined it with my dinner of a fish supper, but at least it was a healthy chippy - grilled fish with no batter and an apple juice as opposed to wine or fizzy juice.
Going for another 5km session in the park tomorrow and will also go for a walk in the afternoon after I get my housework done. I want to find a decent street route where I can jog with reasonable illumination - the park's no use after about 5pm in winter as it's still getting dark quite early.
Today was a really productive day on lots of fronts - got the rest of our groceries and changed all of my Direct Debits over to my new Natwest account. I plan on closing my current current account (an A&L one) by the end of March, as my Natwest account actually has a blimmin' debit card and the Natwest branch staff are hands down more polite and efficient than their A&L counterparts (in my experience, no offence to any A&L staff reading!) Also managed a quick trip to the library and got in some QT with the GF. Good times0 -

YOu need to update your siggy
I don't want to jinx myself! Will update the siggy as soon as I receive a letter from the DCA acknowledging payment and closure of the account.
Went jogging this morning (managed to leave the house before 8am despite the pouring rain!) I have just about warmed up again0 -
Get you, Ed! *Whistles impressedly*

That sounds awesome Pickle - can you post a link for me?
Thanks for the motivation guys - I need it! The housework is now done and I'm being well behaved with a lunch of wholegrain fruit and fibre (I measured a portion for the first time ever - my word it's small!) and a glass of fruit juice.
Off out for a walk to check the alternative jogging in just a minute.0 -
