    hope you're ok hun xx
  • Not had the time to come on before.

DH is now back home, he was discharged on Weds, the discharge letter says it was unlikely to have been a bleed on the brain but the doctor said that as there was protein in the brain fluid (from lumbar puncture as CT scan did not show anything) this did indicate a bleed ?

By Weds his head pain had subsided some what, Thurs he was just the same but by Friday the pain had increased (thankfully not to the same level as Monday). Rung doctor to see about pain killers but had to have appt so visit to doctor resulted in going back to hospital.

The hospital keep talking about migraines but DH has had them before and this is totally different. Was going to be kept in but they have sent him home to rest and we have to go back on Monday for MRI scan which will show more than a CT scan.

I reckon I have been up and down stairs over 50 times today  and yesterday . I am so worried that he will die in his sleep :(

His headache is quite bad today but I said that there was no point going to hospital as they will only do the same as I am doing which is letting him sleep and giving him painkillers every 4 hrs.

I am running round like a blue !!!!!d fly, yesterday I had to clean the animals out - that took 2 hours and I was shattered. Went to bed at 8.

I am so tired/exhausted/worried that I could just cry :(

I am managing to hold it all together for everyone but I fear I will run out of energy.

I am only up now as DH is watching Larkrise (with sun glasses on :rotfl:), he says he is feeling depressed - I'm not surprised what with the pain and being stuck in bed all the time.

Not sure when we get the results of the MRI, I hope they find something so we can get some answers. At the moment nothing is making the pain go away and surely it cannot be normal to have had the same headache for nearly 1 week

Doctor has not rung re DS Xray, I have been in a few times with relative when he has had appts and asked the receptionist, she keeps offering for the doctor to call me but unfortuately as I have been at the hsopital for most of the week I have been unable to arrange anything.
I am assuming that as she has not rung it is nothing bad as she told me to ring in after 5 days but she would ring before if there was any news.

Checked bank account, I have been paid but still not made any PADS. Need to transfer money and then sort DH's money out also (with his permission)

  • No update really to report.

DH still poorly, all tests negative except obviously protein in the brain fluid after the lumbar puncture.

GPs now treating for migraine (although personally we do not think it is this so we are probably going to get a second opinion next week).

Have money in bank account but have wedding tomorrow which will be expensive as staying in hotel so need to keep this to one side for now.

Any left over can be paid to cc's although as DH has been off sick he will be on SSP which means he will hardly get any wages this month.

Santander have sent a letter about overdrafts, from March you will be charged 50p per day up to 20 days so will cost £10 (if I am in overdraft all month) whereas at the moment I pay interest of about £2.00 per month so quite a big increase.
Hopefully I will be able to clear my overdraft (only £300 and not in my figures) before all this starts.

Right now going to pack ready for wedding as staying over at friends mum's tonight and meeting DH and DS at the wedding venue tomorrow.
