We bought a cat from someone who assured us it was a girl. We named her Molly. One morning she jumped on the table with her tail in the air to reveal two reasons why she was a he. We kept the name though, but he was forever fighting so we must've given him a complex.

Glad to hear kittens are well! I think the sexing mistakes happen quite a lot with gingers don't they as they are mostly boys. DD had the same problem with Madam Ginger. Assumed she was a boy, took to the vets for jabs who confirmed she was a she and then had to change her name! Luckily as she was so young I don't think the original name had clicked with her!:)

Has your poor dog seen the specialist?

We have seen the specialist this week and dog has had scans etc, we get full results next week but at the moment there are no large tumours in her lungs/spleen/liver etc

Options are quite limited and I am not sure what we are going to do.

Appointment this week was estimated to be £1500+VAT, not had bill yet as the reception had closed before we had finished, and that was just for the scan and blood tests.
They are going to retest the biopsy sample to make sure it is what we have been told, they are hoping it might be another cancer that is not as aggressive or rare.

In other bad news my car broke down yesterday, had to pay for recovery and need a new clutch - it never rains but it pours!!!

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
