  • Cheaper for boy cats to be neutered so some small positives in there :D
  • Sad news to report from the Elephant household....

    Relative passed away earlier today:cry:
Very unexpected but we did make it to the hospital so we saw him before he passed.

Relative was DH's step-dad (married to his mum years ago) so DH not coping very well and this is the last of his parents to go.

Not been at work today while getting a few things sorted but can't do much else until the medical certificate can be signed off so going back to work tomorrow.

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I’m sorry to hear your and OH’s sad news EE. When I have read your diary over the past couple of years I was always struck by how well you looked after him and I’m sure he had fond memories. I’m so glad you both managed to be with him when he passed.
