Opps Hidden seems to have taken over everyone's diaries today
The diary's been deleted because the Spam button had been used too many times x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Sorry another month has just flown by - I honestly don't know where all my time goes.
DH's spending was starting to get out of control again and he had saved his bill account debit card to Amazon and just kept buying stuff, some for work which he doesn't claim back and other bits and pieces.
I told him to stop doing it as Amazon were not checking their was enough in the bank account before they took the money for the item and 2 weeks ago he went overdrawn:eek:.
I do check his account regularly but as this was at the start of the month and I knew no direct debits were due again until mid month I hadn't checked for 4 days and then a letter arrived to say they would be charging him for going over his overdraft.
I was so annoyed I ended up giving him an ultimatum (not what Relate would recommend:rotfl:) - if another transaction appeared on his bank account from Amazon without him first running it past me he would have to leave and we would split up.
I wasn't sure how seriously he had taken it but a week later he asked me to buy something from Amazon he needed (new light for his truck) and when I told him it was ok if he did it he told me he couldn't as he had removed the app so he wasn't tempted:T
I know the above is very controlling but as I manage DH's finances as he cant due to his head issue then I think it is fine to tell him this and I think him just continually buying things just goes to show that he cant be trusted with money still - honestly he is a nightmare sometimes.0 -
