Glad DH is feeling a bit better. As for the kittens I'm not a cat lover but even I think they're adorable x

  • Kittens are so gorgeous, I wish I could have a couple. Not sure the rabbit would be keen though :D

I'm glad your DH is on the mend :)
Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
    Debt in July 2017 = £58,766 😱 DEBT FREE 31 OCTOBER 2017 :T 🎉

    CHRISTMAS SAVINGS = £0/£500. SEF = £1,400/£12,000 PREMIUM BONDS ME = £350. PREMIUM BONDS DH = £300.
HOLIDAY MONEY = £0 TIME LEFT TO PAY OFF MORTGAGE = 5 YEARS 1 MONTHS
  • I know I say it each time I post but the weeks are just flying past. Thanks everyone for posting - the kittens are all adorable and what I love best is that 3 of them love my dog ( I have 2 dogs, 1 is very over friendly with the cats and the other one is indifferent but does like to bark which they get scared of) and they put up with her nuzzling them and cleaning them, they purr so much when she is doing it.

DH all back at work, driving going fine still.

Am trying to do surveys as much as possible to try and help with Xmas. Have £113 pending in Quidco from 2 car insurance cashbacks but not sure when they will be available to withdraw.

Just checked the Xmas/Oil savings account and that has £800 in so will order some oil next week and then the rest will be for Xmas. This is an account that I rarely log in to, the money just goes in my s/o each month and I almost forget all about it. Today it told me the last time I had logged in was in January.

A bit more moneysaving done, I have sent a payment of nearly £600 to one of DH's debts which brings the total on that one down to £600 - hoping to clear that by the end of the year.
DH should get full pay for the week he was off as they told him not to bother with the sickness form so guess it will be full pay.

Other than that I really need to look at the budgets for the new year as desperate to buy this house and then eventually get a smallholding otherwise our dreams wont start until we are too old to enjoy it.

So pleased to hear DH is fine now :)

My dog and cat get on great - although the cat brings in mice for the dog and likes to wake her up in the middle of the night. This is a vast improvement as when we first got the dog the cat wouldn't come in the house.

Great news on payment to DH's debt.
