Hello
Can I join in? New year's resolution (one of many!) was to try much harder at meal planning. It's also a bit of a necessity as I've been made redundant and so we're down to one not-very-big income again.
Anyway:
Monday - roast chicken + roast potatoes + sweetcorn
Tuesday - Pasta with chicken and tomato sauce
Wednesday - Chicken noodle soup
Thursday - Toad in the hole + carrots
Friday - Baked potatoes and cheese
Saturday - Chicken legs from the freezer with peas and chips
Sunday - Pasta with mince and rest of Tuesday's jar of sauce
Off to the shops now

hi
my resolution is to get back into meal planning as i know it works when i actually stick to it:rolleyes:
I also have a couple of full freezers and a full pantry - so should only need to buy veg and milk as have a couple of sheep and a lot of pig still in the freezer.. but part of my meal planning resolution is to try and have more fish and veggie meal days as it is too easy to eat too much red meat when you have you own supply.....
so
lunch is home made lentil and winter veg soup with HM bread and any leftovers from night before for DH if he is still starving.
breakfast for kids and DH is porridge (done in range overnight) toast for me
M - smoked salmon, brocolli and pasta in creamy sauce
T - veggie lasagne (using homemade chunky lentil and winter veg soup and spinach / greens from garden)
W- lancashire hotpot
Th - something veggie ? possibly chinese stir fry veg with tofu and rice/ noodles (if it is still snowy and i can't get to shops to buy tofu then it will have to be goose stir fry)
Fri goose rissotto, (leftover christmas dinner in freezer)
sat home made goose pizza and salad
sun roast belly pork with potatoes and carrots, swedes, cabbage
I really need to try and get inspiration to do more veggie meals but i stuggle in the winter when we don't have our own grown veggies - i need to get more organised or go back to having a veg box delivery in the winter months...
oh well hopefully this gives me motivation to get better...
