Been going through my various cards, Vigin flying club sale with 2,000 miles Vegas for £451 in March, they also have a car hire offer of free sat-nav with hire. Always found Virgin to be more expensive than other direct hire companies, they use Alamo. Not an offer I'd use as I have a U.S. sat-nav which paid for itself in just 2 trips.

Might be of interest to folks.

I am staying at the Trop in June.... If booked with Travelrepublic for 5th to 10th june, the cost is like £150 + £35 in Resort Fees....
I emailed Nicole (Guest experience manager) and said i could book with a british agent for X amount of money (smartervegas/lasvegasdirect/etc etc etc are more expensive than british agents, despite there deals)........
Anyway, the lady emailed back saying she will price match any rate i see, give me extra perks (Ooooeerrrrr! ;);) ) and offered a rate of $50.99 per night for the 5 nights and waived the resort fee....
Not a bad offer, just need to check that includes there tax, as otherwise it works out more than going through a british agent :) (if there tax is like 12% i think ??)

I picked the Trop based on the reviews i read about it, and reading all that makes it sound a nice play to stay :) We'll need to walk loads when in Vegas to burn off the steaks and ribs were gonna be eating, so where it is works out good ! :):D
Got my 2 nights (fri & Sat on the 3rd june) at the Golden Nugget for £98 Total so looking forward to that first :)
Oh, and if anybody ever read my thread about me trying to get my deposit back from Alpharooms.com for a booking i made with Excalibur, based on them not disclosing the resort fee to me and then being told i will lose my deposit if i cancel........ Well, got my deposit back when i mentioned contract law :D:D

Remember the insurance Virgin make you buy is generally similar in price to the cost of a car hire AND all insurances from CH3000 or Netflights.

I generally use Netflights or Argus easier booking different pick up and drop off locations as well. No surcharges on Cal-Nev-Ari one way bookings

    it won't include their tax.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Also my CH3000 Dollar (or was it Thrifty) rental was a no surcharge Nevada/California one-way rental.....and it got upgraded to a cabriolet with California plates. Make sure they state no surcharge on the booking form.
