January , Februaryahhh even better, lucky you!! :j
I think I'm going to check some dates later on in the year - it's giving me around £850pp from MAN staying at PH for a week for the dates I want in Feb, and I just don't want to pay that much.0 -

I cannot wait!
The 1475 is with Air Canada flights, if you change the flight option to US Airways it drops to 1167, and take off the car option it drops to 11270 -
AprilSometimes it is down to expectation and the type of people that stay in a particular hotel. If planning to stay at the Trop maybe expectations are not that high, so people are content with what they get.
Now staying at MGM is a world apart from the Trop and the more you pay for a room the more you expect, and people tend to get REALLY picky when the least little thing goes wrong.
Agree - it's one of the reasons you have to really read the reviews to see why people are marking places down...I've never stayed at either, but have never even considered the Trop...but that's not to say it wouldn't suit some...I don't like the casino (even post upgrade - IMHO it's kind of horrid, but I know others think it looks good - just personal taste) or the location really, so it's out for us...may be just dandy for others.
Happy Boxing Day to all (I missed Christmas completely).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
AprilDefinitely go for the MGM or Mirage if thats a good price, will both give you a better all over Vegas experience IMHO. Whatever you go for I am sure you won't be disappointed, go with your gut instinct and don't look back!!!pinkstarsx wrote: »The price i can get for the Tropicana is £780 with Heathrow flights (BA) or £760 from Gatwick (Virgin)... Heathrow is closer to me, but the flight times are better from Gatwick.
We're going 23rd Oct, can do a deposit of £150 each which is ideal.
Going to book on Monday - you're all making me wonder about the MGM again now although more expensive, however why are the reviews so much better for the TropicanaHELP!

Has anyone had any luck getting the tickets that they wanted from Tix4tonight and does anyone know f they sell tickets for these shows.
Poss also looking at Vegas! The Show,

If anyone has been to any of the above if they can tell us if the show was worth it that would be great also!!!!

What time, do you think is best to start to queue at tix4 booth? Are there big queue's? Also wondering if it would be worth buying VIP Line Pass from them?
Thanks again, Jodi x0 -

Me and DH have been to the Touranment of Kings twice. the day we got married, and our 5th anniversary dinner. It's quite fun, the meal isn't too bad either, BUT be warned you have to eat with you fingers (medevial and all that) :rotfl:
I think the menu is something like tomato soup, a mini chicken and potato wedges and a tart thing for dessert. It's not bad but the it's more about the play.
Oh and another thing, try not to sit at the front, those horses can kick up sand high enough so it lands on your chicken :rotfl:BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.
comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j0 -
