Flamingo is nice-Lives up to its 3.5 star rating if you get a Go room
Really good location, lovely pool and grounds and I've found the staff to be very good on the whole in 5 stays. Big hotel but not as massive as the V -which is too vast for my tastes but the rooms are nicer than the Flamingo-as they should be-they cost more.

Without knowing what elements are important to you though it's impossible to say if the V is worth the extra. It is to some-not to others

Might help to say which airline you are flying as all the lounges are airside so what is available will depend on which terminal you'll go through security in. If it's BA then you won't have much choice as it'll be T5 -BTW airline miles/ points don't get added until after you've flown the miles

Excalibur is just OK. It's cheap and you get what you pay for. Room was OK, decent size, just a shower, no bath.

It can be full of kids if that's a problem.

If I was on a tight budget then I wouldn't dismiss it. However you can get the Imperial Palace for the same money and it has a better location. Rooms fairly similar.

Have you checked your dates on the Harrah's Hot Deals page to make sure that code is a good deal for you?

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

There is a new show in Vegas which just started on Wednesday at the Hilton called Nunsense. It's a off-Broadway show.

Saw it this afternoon, it's a 4pm show, and it was quite good. Tickets available at T4T.
