October , NovemberHi ,
Like quite a few people on here we're marrying in Vegas next month (6th)!!! (and whilst I'm not a regular poster I want to say thankyou to everyone who's helped with my questions)
I'm sure this has been covered before, but we want to see a show but there are none that really stand out to us so we're going to wait til we're there. Where's the best place(s) to buy on the day tickets? From the venues themselves or are there stands etc?
Thanks, Laura0 -
this seems a fairly decent deal if you're there between 12th and 23rd December and dont mind Mandalay Bay:
http://www.travelzoo.com/hotels/las-vegas/884774
The lowest rates can be found on:- $66: Nov. 21-24; Dec. 12-16, 19-23
There's also $25 resort credit and different prices for other dates
dont forget the pesky resort fee *grr*0 -

tix4tonite booth - about six of them up and down the strip. which hotel are u at? tix opens at 10am, get there for 9am to be certain of getting your choice and avoiding the long queues.
also if you get tickets on day 1, go back with the ticket stub on day 2 and you get to skip the queue.
my faves......jersey boys and KA.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Aprilvarious show discounts, may have been posted individually/elsewhere but worth checking...dates to end of the year.

If you aren't beholden to a specific show, agree on tix4tonight, coupon here for $2 off their service charge.

I think they now post the show list at 9:30 so worth going early to see what they have...but sometimes they have additional availability quite late...saw really cheap Cher tickets late afternoon once but unfortunately couldn't guarantee we could make it there in time given my husband and I had split up for a few hours...they never had them that cheap again when we were there.
If there is a specific show you become interested in, you could check at the box office on the day - some have gotten some deals that way.
If you will have a laptop with you, you could also look for online deals once you get there and something specific strikes your fancy.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Thanks for the reminder on the Summer of Cirque offers generally...I've checked them before but while they showed available for our dates, it would never let me get to the booking stage - kept giving an error before getting to the page with seats. I checked again yesterday thinking we might see Love again, then remembered Viva Elvis which we haven't seen yet...code worked OK, but weren't thrilled with our seats...so called up and got better seats by phone for the same price...very happy.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Cheers guys, I'll just look out and pounce when we see something, thinking either the Platinum or Carriage House, Carriage House would be cheaper but Platinum is near Ellis Island, one of our very fav casino's because its small and friendly.
Hubby had a looksy at Platinum too and he's quite taken re the balcony and location. He was going to book it yesterday but I stopped him and got him to sign up for email offers.
Think I'd like to see Love this visit, saw Ka and the Jersey Boys last time so fancy something a little different again.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
