Thanks for that info, our budget for flights/hotels is £700 maybe even £800pp then spending money on top.
I've been looking at Bills Gambling Hall (Seems fun and comfyish) however the reviews on TA are v.mixed. Has anybody here stayed there?
I havent stayed there, but I love gambling there it is small and friendly unlike some of the larger posher hotels0 -
MayIs the $100 for the Carriage House for a deluxe room? We have a one bedroom suite for $89 Friday and Saturday, but it was booked in June.
I have checked their prices for next year and they are a lot more expensive then. Hopefully they will come down a bit.
yes its for a deluxe room, am looking at sat may 28 which is labour weekend so didnt expect the prices to come down much for that.0 -

What would be the general consensus re booking accommodation given we're going to Vegas when its March Madness, should we book now to secure accommodation or wait a few months on to see if any deals pop up?
I was thinking hang on until around christmas to see if we can get any deals but maybe this isn't such a good idea.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I think VegasTix4Less was around $31 or 32 + fee for main floor and $35 or $37 for VIP.0 -

If you see a price you're happy with, definitely book it now as long as it's refundable. You can still look out for deals
How many times do we see on here that someone hesitated only to miss out on a deal?0 -

can anyone tell me which is closer to the strip out of Carriage House and the Platinum? Looking for a cheap place to stay on our first night which is a saturday, Carriage House is coming out at $100 and $159 for the platinum, not sure if its worth paying the extra for the amount of time we would actually spend in the room.
I really really like the Platinum. Sign up with them for email offers, they often do $109 rates. It's a great hotel. It's only about 5 mins to the side door of Bally's, which is a good mid-strip location. You can also pay $10 to upgrade to strip view which is of Flamingo, Bally's etc, and really nice to sit on the balcony in the early evening. We popped down to Ellis Island (next door) for takeaway pizza one night and ate on the balcony. It was really nice. The pool is also really nice, had indoor/outdoor, some nice fancy seating etc. Big comfy cushioned loungers too. I love it. Only thing I don't like is the parking is valet only, that annoys me a bit, I'd rather just park myself and keep the keys!0 -

I have been during march madness a few times, never had problems getting deals but as Luci says it cant hurt to book whenever you see a good price as long as it is refundable0
