I wish mine had been working when I bought at the last rate of $1.57 :(
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Can anyone give me their views / advise for the Paris Hotel please? We are looking at 7 nights in June 2011 as part of our honeymoon. If I book through ebookers, then after quidco, it would be £435 for a standard room for the week. Is that a good deal? Should I hold out from booking it to see if any deals / upgrades turn up? Has anyone here been to Paris and is it ok?
    Cheers ears

We thought it was fine...nothing spectacular but fine.

Have you looked at prices if you book direct? it's too early for the good deals to be out, but you could at lesat check as a benchmark...depending on what dates in June 2011, looks like it's about the same price booking direct (at the current exchange rate) and would give you time to scout out other offers closer to the time.

Firstly I'm pretty sure that if you book through ebookers you should be able to cancel up to 24hrs before you arrive, but check their offer t&c just in case. I've also found cityandshow.com often have very good rates for Paris also.

We stayed at Paris on our honeymoon, and consequently our next two trips. If it's your first stay in Vegas then the Paris certainly does look pretty spectacular on arrival with their grand entrance and hall of crystal chandeliers and I've always been happy with their standard of accommodation and level of service.
By vegas standards it's not up there with the best in luxury but I've always found it excellent value money and the location opposite the bellagio fountains is lovely. We tipped $20 said it was out honeymoon and got upgraded to a corner suite with a great view of the fountain. The only downside is the pool is a very standard no frills affair.

I should add that our first stop in Vegas on honeymoon was the Bellagio and the memories of that wonderful hotel will forever stay with the both of us and I'm very glad we chose that as our first vegas experience. Even though I prefer to stay at the Wynn now my first choice for a honeymoon would be the Bellagio if it's your first visit to Vegas.
We loved Vegas so much that we extended our stay there and consequently booked into the Paris which was over half the price.

I like the Paris and I dont think you would be disappointed, as for price it is often available sun/thur for $60 a night and a bit more on a fri and sat

http://www.harrahs.com/vegasvacation/ IMO that price isnt a great deal but who knows what the excahnge rate will be in the future, Can you cancel that rate if a better one comes along with no penalties

    EDIT

Just checked my link and there are some $60 nights available for next june so you can check your dates

Does "popular leisure routes" mean "Gatwick Fleet"?
    NEW AIRCRAFT, NEW ERA

As a valued Flying Club member, we like to keep you up-to-date with all the new Virgin Atlantic developments and this one is bound to impress!

From April 2011, we’ll be taking to the skies with a number of new A330 aircraft. The new planes have twin engines and will help us to achieve some important fuel and sustainability goals.

They'll also be super comfortable. The first batch of A330s will have two cabins - Premium Economy and Economy and we'll be using these on our most popular leisure routes, where demand for Upper Class is lower. All the aircraft will include the luxurious Premium Economy seat and comfortable Economy seats, which means your journey will be even more relaxing.

Later the A330s will also include Upper Class - watch this space for impressive new developments.
