Also go through Quidco to get a few quid more off

at that price , i would be biting their hand off . and your dates are sneaking in before APD rises again in November .

    AVATARS

(no not the 3D movie at the Cinema)

for those here without one , but would like one , here is how to get one .( it really is very easy !!!)
    1. Pick an Avatar . this site is completly free and has 1000's
      http://avatars.jurko.net/
the really funky ones with loads of Animation won't work on MSE cause they are too big . try to pick a non-animated one or a very simple animated one
    2. click your chosen Avatar . you should then find a line of code that is called "Direct link to Avatar" highlight the code , then copy it ( right click it and select copy on windows i believe ) . the code will start with http://
    3. now when signed in here at MSE forums , click User CP which you will find in a green header near the top .in the new window click the Edit Avatar link on the left
    4. now in the new window click the Use custom Avatar box . and below it is a box labeled "Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website". the box helpfully ( but really unhelpfully ) has http://www. already typed in , delete it . now paste the code for your chosen Avatar into the box . ( right click on windows again i believe ) . hit Save changes and you are done .

Interesting situation with Delta-I held an award and instead of confirming it on-line as I needed to call Delta anyway I paid for it by phone with their US call centre (after blinking NatWest unblocked the card after deciding me making a US transaction was block-worthy-obviously 3 trips to the US last year wasn't enough to tell them it was me grrr).

When you hold it on delta.com it quotes £220 tax <yeah I know ouch> BUT if you check the same award on the NW sister site tax comes out in dollars with an amount equal to £100. Which is what Delta charged me unasked.

Be interesting to see if it gets picked up -E ticket is already issued.

    Harrah's promotion www.harrahs.com
Daily draw -you nominate a hotel and if you don't win a prize you get an offer.
My offer for the Flamingo was 10% discount on room rate (Total rewards rate not standard rate -as it dropped again once I put in my TR number)
You can enter once a day.

You can nominate any Harrah's hotel so Cesears, Flamingo, Ballys, Imperial Palace or Rio -or if you're Ferf -nominate one hotel for yourself and another one for OH with two different TR cards.
You can sign up for Total Rewards when you register. Registration asks for address-I had to mug mine with a made up zip code and a US state but it still went through despite the fact my TR number is registered to a UK address.

    Extra draws on twitter too

The thing to watch with all of these airlines now is the extra bag charge. We were in the U.S. last week and the big news was Delta putting even more luggage charges on. ATM you get 1 bag free then $50 EACH WAY for additional bags. We won't be using them again that's for sure.
Compare that to Southwest who have just scrapped their luggage fees and have seen passenger numbers increase dramatically
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

hi i am looking to book atrip to las vegas for 4 adults

a girl in thomas cook said october is the cheapest time to go, but that there are no direct flights from belfast.

can anyone help me? - i would like 2 separate rooms, and either 3/5/7 nights flying anytime from august until early december!

i know that is a bit vague but we really are that flexible with dates - it will be a first time trip for all of us so any advice & info greatly appreciated!

if its any easier - pm me and i can give you my email address

thanks in advance & apologies for my lack of knowledge etc!

Hi peeps, I'm looking at Las Vegas as one of the potential places to holiday in June this year with the girlfirend. She's not a big gambling person but does love to swim. Was wondering which hotel on the strip has the best pool scene? Cheers :rotfl:Also looked at the MGM special deal of $48 per night room but it's like double money every night of the promotion? Was wondering if anyone managed to get a good deal? Thanks

I know I think 3 Buffets a Day would kill the average human, We were going to stay with Friends this trip (We lived in Vegas for 7 years up till 2004), but decided the MGMG offer at $51 was too much of a steal,.. even if all we eat are the Breakfast and a Couple of Evening Meals. Do Like the Sushi and Salmon at the Evening Buffet at MGM tho, so may have to endulge!

(Will be out all day house hunting!) - Decided it is the time to take the plunge again if we can find something that fits the bill

we did that deal, supprisingly the opposite is true
as you know you are coming back to the buffet in only a few hours time you didnt over fill yourself like other buffets, particually as we were staying for 4 nights it meant we didnt have to try a bit of everything either as it was the same most nights.
so couldjust pretty much have normal food
