The have a shop in one of the outlet malls (think the one at the end of the strip, sorry I'm not sure of the name) and that sells all types of Uggs in there, they were about £70 last year but not sure now...

I picked up a pair in there to last month, grey cardi ones, not the ones I really wanted but as they were only about £75 I couldn't really say no

we had our dollars for our (non-Vegas) trip next week delivered right on time on Friday - I'm still really grateful for all the comments here about Crown Currency as we would never have tried them if it weren't for the praise we read here - and we wouldn't have known about the cancelled contracts section either.

Only downside is they sent a lot of $50s (plenty of $20s and lower too) which are meant to be bad luck and while we're not going to Vegas we will be gambling during our trip...so hopefully the $50 bad luck will not strike. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

There are two shops in the Miracle Mile shops at PH - Alpacca clothing and David z New York. Both have quite a few styles and I have bought from them on two different trips. Ugg Australia have confirmed they sell genuine Uggs.

There are also the larger department stores selling them in Fashion Show Mall and the Venetian also has a shop selling Uggs but I dont recall the name.

With regard to price I bought a pair of classics in January this year for approx £92 with an excange rate of about 1.6.
If you look on the Ugg Australia website and choose USA as the country you can look at the styles as they generally have different ones than what we have - I got a pair of hot pink ones which I havent seen here before - and you can get an idea of price (just remember to add Tax).

I also found a couple of the outlet shops sold them but at full price, and the David New York shop had a few on sale - I think the cardi or crochet ones were $85 on sale and I got a pair with zips and pockets in the sale for £110 instead of £250 I would of had to pay here.

    Hope it helps Jo

brillant thanks peeps, have written down all the shops and plan to pop into them when passing to check on ugg prices, still gotta be cheaper than buying them here.

at the moment im reading through all the trip reports linked from page 1 and its so hard to get an idea where everything is located on the strip - my head is spinning, like hawaiian market place, walgreens (is this a supermarket?) miracle mile etc etc let alone all the different restaurants and bars! im gonna have to google street map as much as poss me thinks!

just out of interest i know that if ur gambling then you can order free drinks (with a tip) from the waitress but can u order any drink? or any but just not fancy ones? what do u guys recommend as the best vegas drink?

    thanks

As a male who has to look at these Uggs.....why do you ladies buy them, IMO they are the ugliest piece of footwear on the market..well apart from Crocs.:D.

Heels are so much nicer;) trainers are ok for the day tho:)

You can order pretty much what you like-I quite like a mixed drink like a Mojito or aBaileys coffee (with cream of course as I'm on holiday) Just don't forget to tip or you'll be waiting a long long time for your next one.
