AprilI must admit I never liked the place. We only ever went there when they had a good offer in the ACG. $25 matchplay each, $10 free slot play each that you could just cash out , 2 free drinks each at the bar, ahhhh those were the days.
That's us too...and other than the crazy queue to get into Rehab (which we walked by on our way from the parking garage, not being of Rehab age or proportions we've certainly never been)...but other than that it's never been very busy when we've been. Though I suppose we've only ever been during the day.
As for the pool, it may be nice...but having read plenty of reviews of Rehab I'm pretty sure there's never been a time in my life I would have enjoyed the place...but for some people it may be a great time if you have a LOT of spare cash of course.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Junewe're having a fantastic time out in Vegas and will be gutted to leave on Sunday.
Just got back from NYNY and went on the roller coaster which was fun. More fun though was hitting wizard of oz for $100 after just $5 play, then Queen for $106 after $8 play then Mrs WestHamDaz hitting the queen machine next to mine for $110 after just 1 spin. Kinda makes up for the rest of the trip where the casinos have taken our money far too easily,
To end this mini update I have just 3 words...
ELLIS ISLAND BBQ
Absolutely fantastic, went there last night and was quite possibly the best ribs and chicked ive ever had. $20 for 2 massive plates of meat, the beers on the house too. Also while playing roulette, Clinton the pit boss has invited us back for dinner again tomorrow night on the house.
What a place, and cant wait to go back. We would have gone tonight but we're off to the Beatles at the mirage (via maggianos)
Tomorrow, I shall be ruining any USA fan who dares enter the ESPN zone at NYNY as we get our opening world cup game off to a flyer.0 -
October , NovemberWe love EI BBQ too! Only eaten there twice this trip because we're trying to have some new experiences on the food front. Another favourite in the restaurant is the $4.99 Steak and Eggs breakfast. $1.50 a pint too, and they are 20 floz, not the usual 16.0

MayWe've never made it to the EI BBQ as the wait has always been 2-3 hours and the casino isn't big enough and doesn't have enough machines to kill that sort of time.
What were the wait times Daz and Pebbles and at what time of day?0 -
MayEI was on our list to visit this trip but never got round to it, sounds like we mised a great deal, will have to get there next time0

Benn to EI twice....great value... first time wited about an hour at 1900 ish, second time went earlier at about 1730 ish and went straight in.
If you have the free drinks vouchers and matchplay vouchers, cant remember if they are in ACG or LVA, that gives you something to do for a while0 -
Aprillove EI BBQ especially if you have a 2-for-1 coupon, it's ridiculous value for great food. We have aborted before when the wait has been over an hour and a half though. I agree that the casino is too small to really kill a lot of time and the slots can be dangerous if you feel your kind of stuck anywhere - though once we each won $100+ while waiting, so it can work out OK. We only walked straight in once and that was our first visit - but it was relatively late, after 9. Since then we've always had a wait, but once it was said to be 45 minutes so we went to the bar to use our free drinks vouchers and before we were served they were calling our number.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

How Caesars can get away with charging the same for a Shabby Room as Venetian or Aria does for their entry rooms is beyond me.illegitimi non carborundum0
