IGNORE!!! Just tried looking at normal price tickets and it gives an internet 25% off option, I guess this is the same offer??
Were you looking at Ka tickets? The code is different for each show I think...the code is at the top of the page listing the dates available for each particular show (i.e. for Love the code was Mirage - so may always be the name of the hotel/casino where the show is). The 25% off deal may or may not be the same - when I looked for Love tickets it was more like 40% off through the Summer of Cirque offer.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Thanks for the trip report, very interesting, could you tell me where the Hawaiian Marketplace is and a bit more about it.
Thanks
I will let Jaymjay tell you more about it - but have to mention the reflexology place there (it's down toward MGM, between the M&M store and MGM)...I go at least once a trip for a foot rub at least...sometimes combination foot and back rub. I love it. We're thinking about staying at PH next trip and one of the things that immediately occurred to me was 'heeey, we'll be closer to the foot rub place!'Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
AprilSo we think we might try PH next trip as they do come up on our TR account and we really like the casino...having tried Paris last trip and finding it perfectly fine, we still think we prefer Bally's and would probably go back there if PH doesn't work out.
Can anyone tell us what they thought of the Hollywood Hip rooms? Sorry if they have been mentioned before, I have never really thought about staying at PH before now so may have not paid close enough attention.
And if anyone happens to have stayed in a combination of the Hollywood Hip room/Paris standard room/Bally's North Tower room and could give any noteworthy points of comparison it would be especially great.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Bathroom was a two-sink affair (one each side of the room) with separate shower and the tub in the centre at the back, I've probably got photos of ours somewhere. We overlooked the pool, and were on the 11th floor (South Elevator side)0 -
don't think Lucy has posted this one:

JulyFinally read through the whole thread (pretty much!) and now my eyes have gone square.
I tried to sign up for one of these players cards but it would'nt let me because I'm under 21Can I pick one up when I get there? Either that or i'll get my OH to sign up
And also, does anyone know of any good Magic shows? OH really wants to go and see one but I would like it to be good because I'm less impressed.
Lastly, slightly off topic here but we're also thinking of going to San Diego for a night because theres a show we'd like to see at the Humphreys Concerts by the bay. Has anyone ever been there? Does anyone know of any hotels nearby? I can't seem to distinguish the name of the area
Thanks!0 -

Yes and in some cases it may be better to wait since you may miss out on some freebies for new joiners if you sign up online. Sometimes you can still get whatever they are giving away, but sometimes they won't treat you as a new sign-up.
Not sure how often they update it, but this is a listing of the current freebies (you can also find vouchers for sign-up bonuses in the free magazines and coupon books).

It's worth picking where you sign up for each group of casinos (you can only sign up once per group) - example is the MGM group - Bellagio gives $10 freeplay for signing up. The rest you have to play so much to get something like a t-shirt or hat free.
Oh, and SD is at least a 6 hour drive from Vegas I think. it's a lovely city, but I personally wouldn't want to spend that much time travelling there and back for one night - especially after a long flight.
It looks like the venue you mention is on Shelter Island. There's a map of the neighbrhoods on that side of the city here:

January , Februarythat seems a lot to me
Have you checked the friends and family rate (google harrahs friends and family)
I like the Go rooms (especially with a view of the fountains) but I have always booked a deluxe room and got a go view upgrade at check in (usually $25 a night).
I been thinking though and with 4 adults almost in the room it may be worth looking at the MGM twitter deals that Luci posts as there are often Bungalow queen suites available for $60/$70 a night which would give you loads more space
The other half was looking at the bungalows (I assume these are not actually 'bungalows'?)
I may wait another week as the pund is on the rise a bit and it'll be a bit less on the credit card - even if just the deposit
CheersThe force is strong in this one!0 -

My personal reccomendation for a magician is Lance Burton at The Monte Carlo, saw him a couple of years ago and was really impressed with the show he put on. His run finishes in September.
Also Mac King does an afternoon comedy magic show which I found very funny indeed.0
