off to coach my under 10s in their games this morning, makes such a difference heading off in shorts and training top instead of tracky bottoms, waterproof jackets hats and gloves!

my only concern on FitFlops would be that (if I understand correctly) they give your legs a bit of a workout as that's what they are designed to do...so if you're quite fit they may be OK - if you're not (like me) you could wear them and they would be quite comfortable foot wise, but you'll end up with aching leg muscles that aren't used to being exercised as much or in that way? And somewhere like Vegas where you will do a LOT of walking might make them too much.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I should be ok I think as I'm cycling most days in a bid to get fit so my legs should be ok....I'm intending to get them sooner rather than later to give me plenty of time to get used to them....only thing holding me back appart from the price is I've read they are very generous with the sizes making me reluctant to buy them online....they only sell them in one shop in my area and that's 20 miles away so I'll have to wait until I'm in that area to try them on....once I know what size I need I'll order them online

If you don't mind letting me know where you order them from online that would be great

Hi, im a soldier who will be soon returning from Afghanistan. My fiance and myself wish to go to Vegas to get married. Have been looking over all this threads and lots of good info.
But wondering if i ask the following questions....
    1. Does anyone know if any of the hotels do military rates?
    2. Thinking of getting married in the Little Chapel in the West (?)...anyone have any experiences of it?
    3. In respect of Ques 3, is it better to use a hotel wedding package instead?
It will only be me and partner and best man and g/f so not needing the all singing dancing ceremony. But she will be wearing a proper wedding gown (as my bank account found out other day!)
We are thinking either Oct/Nov this year or June/July/Aug next year.
Many thanks for any help you can all give.
