New things I want to do this trip are Finally try Ellis Island- it's about time , see Human Nature , try the new ACE bus down to Freemont Street -of course if I don't do them.....it's just another good excuse to go back again :D

Hope you enjoy Ellis Island! We weren't overly keen on the steak special but the BBQ is awesome and so is the rootbeer. It was my FIL's favorite casino too. We're also going to try the ACE bus to go downtown one night...we don't fly until the 1st so if you're back before and have time would love to hear how it was.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

What can I say? 'Tis better to have a duplicate post, than to miss the deal altogether.

    Never give up posting deals.

Booked flights for my next visit. June 19 - 23. IND - LAS $259 :)

Looking at hotels, I see Alpha rooms have great prices for Encore and Wynn. Are they to be trusted? Seen some very mixed reviews....

thats good did you have to give a credit card number over the phone with them?

No they didn't ask for a credit card number, just the details of the booking.

Their website says that you have to have a minimum spend of $45pp on food. I'm hoping this is an average as OH is likely to have duck or venison which is $40-42 and I will have Filet Mignon which I think is around $54.

Desserts are $15 which would take us over the threshhold, but we rarely have dessert. Also, you have to order dessert at the same time as the entree and I prefer to wait until I've eaten to see if I have room for dessert. I suppose a compromise is to order one to share.

Absolutely do NOT stop posting deals. You may find one that no-one else has come across and it's better to have a deal posted twice than not at all.

I used Alpharooms for a hotel in Benalmadena at New Year with no problems. However I have since read some shocking posts of people not getting confirmation more than a week after posting and many people not being able to get then to answer the phone, or if they did, the customer service was less than stellar. There are several posts in the Complaints section of Holiday Truths.

I would certainly think twice about using them again.

Have you tried Travel Republic, City and Show, Booking.com and the other one that has been mentioned in here recently whose name escapes me?
