I use a sim card in my unlocked british mobile to make calls to my OH and friends whilst over in vegas (classed as international calls ie USA sim - British Mobile) AND from USA to UK - also international calls.

I used to champion JOLT! (Part of the one roam network) BUT they seem to be no more (I have emailed JOLT several times and had no reply). I am therefore currently researching other options. I have found the following:-

I will be going in June/July this year and can report back on the one I chose and my findings if helpful. In the meantime, anyone researching this try the above and post your findings!

Re Signature MGM, is tower 1 the tower closest to mgm or to harmon? Am thinking of staying here as it gets great reviews on here and elswhere, we're not going til ocotber to get maried and there doesnt seem to be any of the offers posted that cover my dates as yet! Ive already booked Encore for $1400 but am having second thoughts now and think i would prefer the extra room facilities here but the base rates for 1 bed suite at mo work out at $1672 inc resort fee & tax though mgm booking, its not really much cheaper via luxury suites at present either!

i think with this and a pointer to where to get a cheap phone card while over there should suffice .

i will post about the "pay it forward phones " Sammz has . can you remind me of what how they work ( how to top them up ) , what network they are on ( sim details ect ) and does anyone have a photo of them so i can post that, to draw attention to them .

Have you tried using the BST10 code that Luci posted a while back? I have just checked the prices that we already had booked on that code and they have come down by $289, 8 of our 10 nights have come down to $99 whoooo
