Does anyone have much luck with the $20 trick at the Flamingo?

I know they only have Deluxe and Go Rooms.

From reading online most people seem to get offered an upgrade to a Go room at $25 extra a night.

Worth trying to get a better Deluxe room, maybe with a Strip/ Pool view?

Just a word of warning for anyone thinking of making a reservation at the Platinum Hotel - if you do decide to cancel, expect to wait a long time for your deposit to be refunded.

I cancelled our reservation 11 DAYS ago, still no money back. They tell me they have issued the refund but my CC provider has no record of this. If they don't get it sorted out by tomorrow I will ask my CC company to deal with it. Got a feeling they have issued the refund to a different CC number (not mine).

wife had a top progressive in september on a 1c machine.
She won just over $1000. prob not the biggest of wins but she was happy.
Back out there in May to try again....
