I think if you search this thread and last years there will be posts about fremont street, or check www.vegasmessageboard.com I have never stayed down there, . For my cheap weekend nights I like the Orleans

Once you have seen the "lights" there isnt much else

The nicest Casino is with out a doubt the Golden Nugget . but it's usually the same price as a reasonable strip hotel . i like the Vibe in there , but it in terms of strip quality it's closest compare is to Bills Gambling Hall IMO .

beyond that i think if you are looking for a room for sleeping and washing you will be fine .

it does feel like roughing it down there a bit . must be why i like it :o .

Just tried that one NVH...£402 for Alan's bypass surgery....forget it I'm not paying that...though I will say that's the lowest quote we've had so far....We'll risk it and go without cover for pre-existing conditions

that price was on top of the policy charge of £120 for the 2 of us single trip

Annual multi-trip can be as cheap as single trip, so worth checking. Also, try Columbus Direct for pre-existing conditions. They gave me a fair quote for hypertension - £98 for a family of 4 annual worldwide cover. You might be able to do it all on-line as well.

I suspect that they are not the best for excess etc. but worth a look

Apologies, just saw your post saying youv'e tried them.

I agree with the other posters though, no way risk going without cover. A bypass could easily last a full life-time, but on the other hand symptoms could develop quickly that require an investigation (in this day and age often treated with a stent, via a small catheter in the artery in the groin).

Work on the principle that you'll spend 400 quid on insurance, he'll be fine and you'll think youv'e wasted your money - but on the other hand, don't spend it and risk a lifetime of regret!'

    Hope this helps

Try the Post Office which is underwritten by Fortis. I'm with Direct Travel and they were much cheaper for my PEMC than all the other companies I tried, but can't say what they would be like for heart problems.

If you can't get anything online you should approach a broker who should be able to find something for you.

Just wondering what a good website is to find cheap flights to LAS Vegas. Im looking to fly from Manchester on the 18th or 19th September for a week. Anyone know a rough estimate on what a good price is?
