subscribe to kayak.co.uk for free and they will email you price updates per day. I managed to get 14 nights from the 18th for £455, but they are at £529 at the minute.

Worth mentioning -a friend was telling me she was getting really high quotes for her planned trip in the summer to Dallas Vegas and Tucson. I broke the trip in two -transatlantic (London Dallas & Vegas London) and domestic (Dallas Tucson Vegas) and halved the quote for her. Always worth pricing multicentres both ways.

I knew it! We arrive on 1st April and leave on the 9th...ah well, we knew it was probably unlikely that he would play over easter.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Guys,

Could anyone share with me their experience on the luxor? Stayed at TI last year but want to stay down other end of the strip! Found 9 nights over thanksgiving at $650 for basic room? Any advice appreciated!

what would you like to know? :D

i think it's a love it or hate it hotel! i love it (possibly because its the first vegas hotel we ever stayed in)

it's also probably the biggest hotel you'll stay in, that doesn't actually feel that big! (ie. it doesn't take 5 days to get to your room) - i also like its conveniant location but we like gambling @ Mandalay Bay - it's also not hard to get to NYNY + MGM... they've recently refurbed all the 'downstairs' bit (casino floor and the one above it) so it looks a bit swankier

not keen on buffet there but you can head elsewhere for one of those wherever you stay! :)

people will say the rooms in the pyramid are dark, but i liked staying there (going out and looking down into the middle from the high floors!) plus, rooms for it can be had quite cheaply

i notice they now do a resort fee but you can't win 'em all!

Stayed there a couple of weeks ago. I found it a nice hotel and would happily stay there again. Upgrades seem easy to get. I was offered a tower room ($20 trick) but declined as it was twin beds. Three other couples in the party got a free upgrade. I did not like the inclinators at all - they made me feel sick and unsteady for a while after. If I went again I'd stay in a tower room. We stayed 6 nights and found that splitting the booking over different deals (found them all on dealbase.com) was cheaper. We went from pyramid to spa suite so had to move rooms but I'm sure you'd be able to link a booking and stay in the same room.

yes, I have used them several times with no problems, and I think a few others on here have used them too.

They also do a £99 deposit and pay the balance about 4 weeks before your stay

I have used City and Show and I think stoneman has too for the Four Seasons. No problems, but we were asked for our accommodation voucher at check in which wasn't a problem.

Can't remember what their cancellation policy is.

Yes no problems using them. City and Show seem to get the best prices for the top end hotels
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
