I wondered if anyone could help me?

A work friend has asked me to help her book a holiday to Las Vegas for herself and her husband, as I'm good for cheap deals to Europe:o but I've never been to Vegas myself so don't really know the ropes, she is going thru a stressful time at the mo' her son is long term ill and has been readmitted to hosp, she deserves a break and I want to help as much as I can.

She is looking her herself and husband to go away from the 31st of March (give or take a couple of days and return on the 5th of April. I've seen the special deal on travel zoo for the hotel that seems great but I can't seem to get a good price for the flights. Any airport London, Manchester Midlands. Can anyone help?

I did. Before I posted.

But there is alot of infomation and as I've said, I've not flown to Las Vegas so I can't compare, I don't know what is expensive and what isn't or if there cheaper non direct flights.

Using that guide I tried My travel, as the date isn't far away but they do not start flights until May.

Both Virgin and BA seem very expensive.

The best price I'm getting is Last Minute, just under 1200 with non direct flights with hotel.



Also I'm not used to booking flights such short notice and as I've only flown to USA twice and never to LV I was hoping someone would be able to help.

I've tried zugu and skyscanner.

I'm not asking for someone to do the work for me, I don't know what a good price is as its not a place I'm familar with.

if its just cheap flights, read the last 2 or 3 pages of this thread, a few different websites have been mentioned or try here:

when you search try to be a bit flexible with dates (ad good luck)

You can probably expect to pay anywhere between £400 and £550 (or more!) p/person for flights.

Only BA / Virgin go direct (Heathrow / Gatwick respectively) - you may have more look with Delta doing a 1 stop somewhere.

It may be worthwhile checking the likes of expedia for a package as a few people seem to have got good deals doing it that way - however check this thread for hotels that may get slated (for example, if offered 'stratosphere' as a hotel in your package, check here, you will find it is cited as being badly located / inconveniant compared to a lot of other hotels).

We have booked 7 nights from 4th April-11th April £650 each in the Mirage with flights (school holidays) with Expedia. Couldn't do better than this. Hope that helps.

A "good" price IMO is £350 but those days seem to be gone, as NVH said £500 is good at mo for direct and £430 to 450 for 1 stop.

What deal do you have for £1200, I am guessing a low budget hotel

Thats a good price, i have just priced the MGm using one of the good offers available and it came to $424 https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=001&host=group&code=MGM035 but there is some freebies with that. Thats about £285 which would leave you £900 for the flights. I would book it, i dont think you will find flights for less than £450 each and the MGM is a good choice...its to big! but thats just my opinion
