My weeknights are $22 for Excalibur in May. The offer has expired now, but I can't see me finding anything much cheaper. We were quite pleasantly surprised with Excalibur last year. The pool area was much nicer than we expected.
But does it have bath tubs? If it doesnt thats what stops me staying there

we're probably in the minority, and having never stayed at MGM our choice may be irrelevant, but having stayed at Excalibur and having visited MGM many times, we would choose Excalibur over MGM, especially if MGM were more expensive. MGM is just too big for us to really want to base ourselves there - and we were always perfectly happy with Excalibur the several times we stayed there. Only once did we notice tons of kids there - though this obviously depends on when people are visiting.
I am similar to you when it comes to the MGM, it is to big and I have had problems at check in both times I have stayed there, BUT at $55 a night with the extras it is hard to resist:)
  • MGM would be $742 - using Play Crazy 8's deal - tower room
Excalibur $471 - using vegas best rates deal - normal basic tower room

Found a good flight for £504 per person with Coninental which is from NCL > AMS > EWR > LAS

Coming back LAS > IAH > LHR > NCL - good times and purchased all flights with Continental on same ticket incase one of the flights is dealayed

British Airways from NCL > LHR > LAS and back is £630

Do you's think if BA have another sale they will be cheaper by £126 per person?

Basically should I book coninental flights or wait till BA have another sale

The rooms we stayed in before didn't have bath tubs - though it was several years ago.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Snap. We put in a new bathroom suite almost 10 years ago and I think I've used the bath twice. However I really enjoy a bath on holiday.

The widescreen room we had at the Excalibur only had a shower.
