I asked at McCarran airport just said is there any upgrades left on the plane and how much - he told me how much then I said nah it's ok I can't afford that much but thanks anyway for looking

He said since I was an easy passenger he has put SFU on my ticket (suitable for upgrade) because economy has been oversold

When we went to the departure lounge our names were called out and we were given new tickets which were in World Traveller Plus & the seats were much better

I stayed in MGM but can't afford it this time round as going to Vegas twice in a year is good lol

Just need to find a decent flight either with KLM, Airfrance or American Airlines or wait until British Airways have another sale hmmmmm

that price was on top of the policy charge of £120 for the 2 of us single trip

Is that wise? have you any idea what it would cost you (heavn forbid) if anything went wrong while you were out there.

I dont know the answer but I am guessing 10s to 100s of thousands for heart surgery

Looking at Excalibur

From memory the Excalibur does not have bath tubs, maybe you are ok with that, but we do so much walking in Vegas that I love to soak in the bath.

There will be more deals come out yet (I hope) and the MGM would only be maybe $20 more per night so prob less than £100 extra for your 8 nights

Quite likely although I dont know what you have seen at mo, I have 4 nights at $55 a night with bogof buffets etc included, I can see there are already $55 nights for the time you are there https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=001&host=group&code=MGM035

It may be worth doing 2 hotels during your stay shuffle the nights to get best rates

Dont forget you can book hotels to get the deal and then cancel (normally, check t and c) if something better comes along I often have 3 hotels booked for the same nights

BUT book your flight first
