How about staying an Vegas an extra night? You'd save at least £150 each on the indirect flights which is more than enough to pay for an extra night's hotel and some spending money.

Sorry for the confusion

I will goto LA if it's cheaper and hire cheap care and drive to Vegas

I only want to book the flights on same ticket incase one of connecting flights are delayed etc.

Theres a one for KLM but the cheap one is 19hours which is too long to be honest.

If 19 hours is to long your options are limited. How long does it take to fly Newcastle to london connect and the fly direct to LAS ? I am guessing 14 hours. is it really worth 2 to £300 extra for 5 hours in Vegas?

It realt comes down to ALT post about the 2 choices and only you can make that choice

I have flown to LA but stayed 3 nights before going to Vegas, there is no way you would want to drive the 5 ish hours straight after landing, and even if you did it would then make your journey time longer than the indirect flights

Agree - the drive from LA to Vegas is relatively easy (once you get out of the greater LA area where I found it a bit stressful) but I would think it would be hell straight after a flight like that...I would never do it - I would stay in a hotel in LA and get up when I got up to drive to Vegas over planning on driving straight after landing - but that does rather defeat the purpose.

They are also in Orlando on Easter weekend if anyone is heading that way...

Good news - I have now convinced my other half to take a longer flight if we stay in Vegas longer

We are gonna stay in Vegas for 9 nights

Is Opodo a decent site for comparing flights with connections?

Fingers crossed should be able to get the price below 1k now
