  • good morning everyone, am about to start my listings for today, aiming to get 150 active listings by the end of today.

RAther annoyed with one buyer, she won an item a week ago, for £35 she asked first if I would accept PO for payment which I said yes, then when she won said she would send a cheque as because of the weather she hadnt been paid, said ok but would send the item till it cleared, she then said that she would post the cheque on Tuesday but as the weather was so bad and she was 37 weeks pregnant and didnt know if she could get out. Since then nothing received and no reply to messages, if she had changed her mind I wish she would have just said and then I could have relisted straight away:mad:

i have to run 2 accounts now... how do people get on running 2 at the same time?

I've always had 2 accounts and often feel like two different people :rotfl:I have been known to answer a question from the other account and that really confuses people!

Other than that, it is fine.

Didn't do any listing yesterday as it was my wedding anniversary; not that we did anything special and we had the privilege of having DS3 up with us til 1.30am and then DS2 from 3am.

May try and put a couple of items on later but not convinced about using live eBay; my laptop is unpredicatable at the best of times and I think this might just send it over the edge. Will see how I get on when OH takes the children off me late afternoon.

  • Hi everyone

I joined the thread with great enthusiasm but have not been heard of since post 83! I am a bit in awe of some of your herculean efforts truth be told.

Am determined that the free listing day is just the motivation I need. Yesterday was spent sorting and photographing 88 items - mainly clothes so my very ambitious task is to get these listed today. So far I've done 6! Am in to a bit of a groove now though so hopefully will speed up. I'd forgotten how long uploading photos actually takes though so am rooting out other household stuff whilst the computer does its stuff.

Well done to those of you who have really embraced the Ebay challange and good luck to all of us listing today!
  • ebay is very slow at the mo - i am only listing the more expensive items live, and will continue to do the 99p items on turbo lister just to be on the safe side!
  • I'm glad i'm not the only one experiencing a slow rubbish ebay, that last listing took me about 20 mins as i had to re-do it about 5 times argh

On a more positive note i now have 50 listings on since my last post, admitedly most are relists but they are free relists at least!

credit_crunch i think your only option is to cancel the current bid on the item, then end the listing early and relist. Thats what i would do the spelling error is definitely going to affect the price

    Keep at it everyone

  • hey sleepless - the bids are over £10 now so i am just goin to let it run - as im sure you have guessed i am a bit of a stress bunny lol!

up to 30 listings on ebay, 1 new on amazon - off to make lunch and take some more pics!
  • twenty five new listed so far, need some new batteries for the camera, so off for some lunch and to dig the batteries out
  • Afternoon All.

I am now running 2 accounts as i refuse to pay to list my own items today when its free listing.

Still not sold any of the items i bought from the wholesaler and thinking i may have made a mistake with them. But on a good note im getting rid of some of my own items. Slowly but steadily.

  • Glad to see everyone's busy on free listings day :) Hope you get your proper work finished soon mrscmr and you can get on to ebay too.

I am suffering with a bit of a hangover today - went to our friends last night for curry and wii and drinking which was great fun. Don't think I can be bothered to go into the loft today to find stuff so I'm going to go and find 10 things from around the house and list them. If you see me back here it means I'm slacking so give me a kick up the bum and tell me to get on with it!
