  • 72 items listed today and i'm out

I really tried to reach 75 but the last 2/3 have taken me 15 mins a piece, i think thats when it's time to stop, i did spend a couple of hours sorting the back room too, so fairly happy with todays efforts

mrscmr what i wouldn't do for a roast right now - i'm starved

gina of course, TMD, Purpleroses and anyone else still pushing on come on you can do it, still another 4hours and 30 mins left.... just think these items will end approaching the end of the month and pay day too

    Good luck all

I'm listing but I've done them all in Turbo Lister and have had enough now so I cannot be bothered to copy and paste it all over so I'm just going to pay to list them. Its all good stuff so should make decent money (fingers crossed)

About 20 done and ready to go and I'm pleased with that so feel proud of myself today :)

Personally I would never ever risk surface mail as buyers only have 45 days to open a paypal dispute and they will open one before that time limit 'just in case' your item fails to reach them. That means your item could still be on its way but you've already lost a chargeback.

If something is too heavy for airmail, I don't offer it outside the UK.

Fingers crossed, so far I've had no problem with Surface Mail although I have seen it mentioned on other threads about buyers opening a Paypal dispute after 45 days. I've been fortunate that SM has never taken that long for me - even to Australia.

P.S. How do you offer an item for UK only as all my listings seem to be offering the same i.e. I can't offer an item for UK only without the rest being UK only? (hope that made sense)

  • Hi, I've found you from the 2009 thread!

So far this year has been really poor, 1 sale of £2.99. I listed some more stuff in the week and have one 99p bid. Quite a few watchers on other things, and listed some of my sons clothes today. It's been hard to get back into the groove, but I need to make £200 per month - its not going to happen this month!

On the positive side, last September we set ourselves a challenge of clearing clutter and selling on e-bay to pay for new carpets. They were fitted on Friday, look great and less clutter too! Next project is new fitted wardrobes and carpet for our bedroom. So that's a £2000 target for 2010.
