Have decided against listing anything today; partly because I still have the children and when they are finally released into OH's hands for bathtime, I shall be shattered!

Have sold a CD on Amazon though. And of the 9 items that I relisted on 1 account, 1 has sold.

Am going to get lots in for a 10 day listing on Thursday and I'm going to try putting a schedule in for eBay, housework and study this week in the hope that something might be achieved!

Well done on all the listing and here's to lots of sales and money :T

  • Thanks for info about postage. Nothing is going to be over £39.00, so should I just post everything Airmail packets then? I thought surface mail took about 6 weeks? surely buyer would complain about the wait. I think my head is about to burst. Thank goodness it all my own stuff and I don't need to take into account cost of item as well as everything else. One of the things I sold I made a mistake on postage my scales weighed it a lot lighter and I only charged £4.75 p+p item went for over £39 and it cost me nearly £6.00 to post. I bought new digital kitchen scales so that it won't happen again.

Personally I would never ever risk surface mail as buyers only have 45 days to open a paypal dispute and they will open one before that time limit 'just in case' your item fails to reach them. That means your item could still be on its way but you've already lost a chargeback.

If something is too heavy for airmail, I don't offer it outside the UK.

Yummmmmmmmmmy I've only had toast today and am making some leek soup.
  • Well, the hangover has got the better of me and I'm calling it a day. I haven't listed anything which isn't the end of the world really - I have photographed, weighed and measured 11 items and cleared out a cupboard resulting in 3 carrier bags of rubbish so that was quite productive. I had a board game I wanted to sell which goes for quite a bit of money and I thought I'd better count the pieces so I spent the best part of an hour checking and found I was one short! Good job I checked. Oh, and I parcelled up five things that I'll post tomorrow :)
