Hi, I've only got to post #48 on this thread but wonder if I've had a lightbulb moment.
I often get stuff delivered at work that has had the box padded out with polythene pillows. (Imagine a roll of sandwich bags that have been pumped up and sealed to keep the air in). They weigh almost nothing.
Well I wondered if we could make our own air filled pillows using recycled bags. Even the plastic that magazines come through the post in could be used. Whizz them around to fill with air and seal them with one of those heated things used to seal bags for the freezer.
Has any one tried this? Mind you I wish I'd invented it in the first place!!
Would you be able to have the ones from work? I always save the ones I get in the post and they keep me going through the year.
I also bought some polystyrene 'sausage' fillers but JesaRose made a suggestion of shredded paper which I think I shall also use as OH works from home and we end up with bags full of paper.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
I haven't done any photos, is that going to be a problem with the live listing or can I add them later?
Hoping I get the time and energy later to prepare some listings...
Not a problem to add photos to a listing after its live, just go to revise item and you'll be able to add a photo. I do this if i put DVD's cos I normally just type the USBN in and ebay stock photo comes up, but sometimes there's no stock photo, so I go ahead with the listing anyway and just add the photo later.November 2018 make £10/day - £21/£300

I haven't done much either. Felt rather tired at 5.30pm so decided to sneak upstairs and lie down for an hour, just as I was walking up the stairs the phone rang, OH answered it, came up a few minutes later to say his sister, her kids and his mum were coming round - sod it I thought, so no lie in for me, had to quickly clean the sink and toilet and tidy up the kids room and they left about 15 minutes ago.
So now I have to stay up late and do all the things I was going to do this evening, kids are all still up, tomorrow morning OH's brother is coming and leaving his dog here for the day as they are going out for the day to his other brothers (we don't see them anymore), he is a big dog and will distract me from my Ebay listings tomorrow, will have to get the dog gate on my office door as his bed will be just outside our office where the dining table goes.
Oh the joy of out-laws (would be in-laws but OH and I are not married so they are out-laws - LOL).
Best crack on, by for now.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
