I posted 12 parcels today, had to do 2 trips though as OH didn't come in until 2.30 and there was a queue first time so only did 6 (Personal ones) the other 6 were Business ones and I did them quickly after picking the kids up from school as they had Ballet at 4.30.
If you want to know when your listings will end the easiest thing is if you list it one day count from the next day, ie. list on Tuesday, count Wednesday, Thursday, Friday etc.

That is good going mrscmr - did you post the 35 parcels at the same time or do 2 trips?
Your stock came quick, I ordered mine on Friday late afternoon so am expecting it on tomorrow or Wednesday, probably be Wednesday as the Wholesaler I used I've used before.
Just doing a few onto Turbolister at the moment, won't get too much done though until later when the kids are in bed. DD3 was awake until 1am last night so didn't get anything onto Turbolister.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Hi Everyone, I would really like to get into ebay better than I currently am. I have tried to sell just two things to date and they didn't sell. I have been prcrastinating for too long.
The things that concern me are:
The weekends are really my free time to check when an item sells so I need to either load them on the weekend before for a week so I am on hand when the time expires for bids.
I am a bit on the thick side as to what to put them on for. I have a load of my dd clothes. Im thinking of loading them on for 99p per outfit to avoid charges and see how it goes. But not totally sure.
Also, not having yet sold anything I am unclear as to what happens on the expiry of an entry. Is the last bidder the one who gets it and then their details are there to send the item to once payt is received?
I would dearly love to sell some Linda JaneSmith pictures on there, but whenever I look at other pictures of hers on there nothing seems to get a bid. I dont want to over price, but by the same token I dont want to under price either. I don't know whether to load the pictures on - I have 12 which I love but I want to clear my debt more than I love them! - and go with it and take any charges on the nose if they dont sell.
I feel to get all the items on there that I want to sell, I will need a good few hours given Im a novice and this in itself is off putting when the time avail at weekends is also my time with dd and is catch up with relaxing in preparation for work the next week aswell as doing all the necessary chores. I have at least 12 pictures, then board games, clothes, ornaments, toys. I think I could load say 5 a week, and do more when I get the hang of it.
So, in summary, what wd you start with re items to sell? How do you know when you have an item selling and how does the sale close? Are there any hints and tips you could offer me? What would you do about the LJSmith pictures?I have loaded 2 of them before and neither sold. I put them on for 7 days. BTW, Im ok about the postage charges as I have my scales and postage prices to hand!
Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. Will check in to this forum later or tom. Take careMy debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Welcome P&F! I would recommend putting your DD clothes into bundles of sizes, and starting them at 99p. 1, its free, and 2, it attracts a lot of watchers. I put 2 bundles of DS clothes on at 99p and one went for £24! I hope you do well!
I have not got work until Fri now, so plenty of time to sort out stuff. I have one unpaid item, annoyed because I usually only accept paypal and I had accepted others on this listing. Re-sent invoice today, wouldnt kill the winner to send me an email to let me know how they are paying.

Hi everyone. Pleased to see so many of you doing well. I sold quite a bit yesterday and today and made about £65. I'm not too far off my target for this month, so really pleased. Have spent the afternoon madly listing everything that isn't nailed down!! Got bids up to £17 now and still waiting for payments of £15. I used to find this a chore but I'm actually enjoying it now!!Sealed pot member #1950 - £44.79
