floxxie - my o/h is gobsmacked i think you've just convined him i'm not daft after all at giving this a go - he might just give me a hand now!!! (by the way he is wondering if your selling body parts to make that much in a day!!!!!)

thats my sales finished for this week, so far sales for 2010 = £113 so am really happy with that, havent had time to list anything else though but will get some things listed tomorrow and still have 13 items on. away to withdraw £100 paypal and update my signature - i'm so excited hehehe floxxie you must br dancin on the ceiling!

:rotfl::rotfl:I've been selling baby/toddler equipment, some electric appliances, some games and toys. Need to sort out the courier for three items now. I'm actually that tired that I can't feel very excited...might go and withdraw some cash from Paypal; that should make me feel better.

By the way, most of the stuff I was putting on were the things that I doubted would ever sell. They certainly did sell and sell well and truly over what I ever thought they would reach so please put anything and everything on.

I have a visitor tomorrow morning and have somehow got to get children to school/childminder and clean all of downstairs before 10! Let's hope the courier doesn't turn up during my cleaning time.

Catch up tomorrow; I'm definitely going to be listing...

  • Not doing well at all, I have not even started. I need a kick up the backside!

  • Was doing so well yesterday - discovered turbo lister and listed 9 items into it..... then went to up load loast night and started having errors  nightmare. Something to do with errors within the application. It happened after doing the costings. So Ive now missed putting them live on Sunday night for 7 day listing (Have been doing well on Sunday evenings with sales) so am going to try again Tuesday for a 5 day listing! Have deleted the couple of items that appeared to bring up the error message. Will have to see what happens! Sold x5 items last night (yet to update my totals) Amazing what people buy! Have been selling stuff that to be honest, last year I would have put in the recycling or bin!!!
  • hi guys

sold 2 things yesterday, but also have had 2 parcels disappear - (on the account i created for my friend - but i use it! complicated i know lol!)

anyways just wondering, if i start 10 day listings this thur/fri/sat does that mean they will end sun/mon/tue or sat/sun/mon

having a few blonde moments 2day lol! really struggling to keep up with all these threads - might have to just read the last pg of each thread to save a bit of time! either that or give up my job! think the thread cut backs are the more sensible approach lol!!

    hope everyone is doing well!!

sophiasmum, what a nightmare with Turbolister; I've had a couple of issues with it and even managed to lose over 50 listings before they went live. Unfortunately didn't know then that I could recover them from the backup and redid the whole lot.

I've been packing most of the day; another three people paid so have just sent OH down to the PO. He's going to make two trips as there are 18 items, several of which are large. Courier turned up at lunch which is late for them; he said he was busier than at Christmas!

Skintbint, I have occasional major activity on eBay and then have to take a break to recover but mrscmr motivates me and when I read on here about others and their sales, that keeps me going to so please keep on posting and if you haven't listed yet, get on with it...people are buying!

Oh no cc, is it just very delayed post?

I normally have to ask the question about when a listing will end and tmd normally answers it for me but I know that if start on Thursday for 10 days, it will end on a Sunday.

As for reading the last page and working backwards, that'show I have to do it which is why my comments are sometimes odd because I have responded before reading the previous posts ;)

  • Posted all my parcels today, thankfully PO was empty:j

made some more sales today and one that was very pleased with, my friend is renting out her late mums house and the new tenants didnt want the cooker even though it is in good condition, she was going to freecycle it and I said I would wack it on ebay for her, she said put it on for a fiver and any more we would split it 50 50. this went on yesterday

Got an offer today and its gone for £50:T:T very happy friend and little bit more for me:rotfl:

Wow, I can't believe how well everyone is doing. I haven't thought of putting a target to this challenge, but I do need to raise £455/month if I am going to meet my goal of paying off my MBNA card by my 30th.
I have loads to sell, and everytime I open a cupboard or walk into a room I see things that could potentially be sold............so I think I'll push myself to listing as much as possible each day and reaching my monthly target!

    Woohoo...............*runs off with camera*
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
