    Hi

My personal items are girls comic books that I collected when I was a kid, my girls old clothes, presents that I've been given in the past just things I've come across.

My Business account I'm selling children's clothes I bought in the sales and have ordered some Character clothing which I'm waiting to be delivered. In the past I've sold baby changing bags, cozytoes, books that I bought from a Wholesaler, the best seller was Meg and Mog books, I loved selling these and they were good sellers, there was 4 in a pack. I tend to sell things that I'm interested in, I tend to buy clothing in my kids sizes or a size above what they are so that if any of them have imperfections etc then my kids can have them.

I love Meg and Mog books :o

You must be getting the items at good cost to make a profit on eBay; I think that is what my fear is, buying stuff and then not selling it on or not making a great deal for all the effort. Mind you I have enough of my own personal stuff to sell first.

Things that I have found have sold well:
    Handy Manny
    Power Rangers
    WWE wrestlers
    M&P baby changing bags
computer modems - are they called routers?
    dongles
anything that is collectable - old toy cars, Lego etc.
    half-finshed tapestry kits
    Clark's kids shoes
    empty nappy wipe boxes
    health and fitness magazines
    heart monitors
    ab belts

ummm can't think of anything else at the moment; definitely not clothes for me ;)

yes, sell things that you either know about or believe in.... for example if you are a girly girl... dont sell car parts! x

I'm trying to find that elusive product that I know or believe in :D

Well done on selling some of you stock mrscmr, I had an e-mail saying my stuff was despatched today so will be with me tomorrow, I hope it comes in the morning so I can sort it out while the kids are at school.

I am not too sure about free postage.

Blimey just remembered I have 100 things finishing today, better go and check and see what is going on.

I normally check and see what the other sellers who sell stuff like me are selling and what they are not selling. I bought some Disney Store Minnie Mouse cardigans early last year and they were really good sellers, they had little ears on the hood and were so cute.

Got 19 parcels so far to take to the PO tomoro, gives the staff panic attacks when there are more than half a dozen to do:eek:

good luck everyone for your bids

This is something that always makes me feel really bad, taking too many parcels to the post office at one time, especially when I'm requesting proof of postage for each! Yesterday i had 8 parcels to post and i actually took four to one post office at lunchtime and the other four to a different post office after work! :rotfl:I dont want them to see me coming and hide!
Still, it is their job right?

    Well done on the sales!

You can ask for proof of postage certificates which allow you to write all your parcels on the one card (but not for Standard Parcels); that then acts as your proof if any go missing. You can prepare it before you go.

Alternatively you could use Paypal RM postage and print off the labels and then hand them over to the PO but they miss out on direct revenue.

Finally you could ask them to take all your parcels off you in the morning and they do the postage in their quiet times. You leave the ccash and instructions with them and return later to collect your proof of postage and change.

But with 8 packages I wouldn't worry. OH was at the PO with 20 yesterday; whilst they were doing the SPs he came back and picked up some more. ;)

Think of it this way - if you were not going in there with your parcels and others weren't either then they close more post offices. SO you are helping keep them in work
