Have left feedback for the weirdo: So glad you and your wife had so much pleasure with the thong!
It might not have been a male and female
Seriously gross and not something I want to read....I was a bit freaked by feedback received on Amazon after selling a book (nothing wierd) and got the feedback 'orgasmically quick' ??????Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Thanks Floxxie. I have a son too so it's all boys toys - never thought to keep the boxes but will do from now on!
I have got some of those DVD's somewhere so will give them a go too.
I know the idea is to sell unwanted items you have already but last Summer my local Primark were selling loads of clothing for £1 each. I spent £10 on maxi dresses and short skirts. Started them at 99p and almost all of the 10 items sold for nearly £10, I think I got about £94 in total. Was very pleased!
I never get on very well with clothes - they either don't sell or sell for so little . I'm grateful that they have gone but then wonder why I can never get a bargain bundle. Must try harder on that this year.
Well done on the bargain buys and resulting profit! I remember someone mentioning that they sold Top Shop sale items for a profit although I'm too old to shop there anymore
Just remembered on boys toys - Power Rangers and WWE wrestlers sold well.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
There's no need to be put off by the scammers and dishonest people - they are a minority. There are things that would help you to make sure that you weren't scammed. If you take a look at the eBay board (Soolin's signature contains a link if you can't find it), there is a new to eBay thread which should answer your concerns.
I've sold a lot of high value items and haven't been ripped off.
You're welcome to join us to try eBay out. Perhaps you want to strat with lower value items to get a feel for it?
Thanks,
I have tried e-bay before - sold some small items. Almost didn't tho after my 1st item magically 'stopped working' between my house and theirs leaving me out of pocket!!! (they expected ME to pay for them to return it which would have been more then the cost of refunding item and orig postage).
I have been on the ebay boards with a couple of queries but basically there is nowt you can do as paypal never take your side and i just can't risk it unfortunatly.
Will prob end up with stuff on from March time tho if I can't sell it locally.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

well decided to list another 12 items - have now got 26 listed, the most i have ever had, all low value ranging from a 0.99p up to £4 - need to make that £200 by the end of the month! Am off on leave this week so will have a mooch around the charity shops, cant wait until the Cancer Research Relay for life kicks off for this year as the local shop gets inundated with bags of stuff. Also i'm sure there is one of the charity shops has a january sale where everything is a £1, might even see if there is still any soap and glory stuff left at boots as seen that is a really good seller, wish i'd bought those hat boxes for £25 notice some are going for nearer the £40 now.skintbint x

My first lot of items ended tonight (apart from the BIN's obv) which is very exciting!
How quickly do people normally receive payment from their sellers? Do people use that "request immediate checkout" option?
Also, I have been posting my low value items 2nd class post and everything else goes 1st class. Do buyers usually prefer 2nd class cos it's cheaper or 1st class cos it's quicker?0 -
I post everything 2nd class unless it is heavy (then use standard parcels or courier) or worth over £39 (then use courier, special delivery or collect-only). When I send the item out, I always state that it has been sent by 2nd class and will take 3+ days.
Many of my items turn up as quickly as 1st class but costs the buyer less.Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
Ooohhh a wedding buddiebabe - how long have you got to save?
We haven't set a date yet so im guessing a good few years unless i get this debt cleared quicker. I would love a big wedding (i know its only one day) but i only intend to do it once so would love to have the fairytale but MSE style!!
My fiance doesn't have any debts so he says he'll start saving something towards it but i feel bad so i thought if i could at least put something away from what i make on ebay it would be a start. I want to pay for the wedding ourselves so that way we will get what we want without any interference so we will need to save for it.
Back to ebay i have one item selling for a grand total of 75p :j every penny counts! Im not going to be able to list anything for a few days working both full time and part time is killing me im lying in bed typing this trying to keep my eyes open
Glad to see so many new faces joining in! Glad the listings are increasing hopefully the bids will be there 2
Going to catch up on the other posts before i get some sleep
